  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have had sex before marriage. I also feel bad about it. To be exact I have had sex with 10 women and that is something I wish never happened. I wish I was still a virgin because I am truly sorry and I have prayed for forgiveness countless times for this. I feel terrible because I have sinned. Because im not pure anymore. I also struggle with touching yourself and I know that a sin as well. So I have a question.

The Bible states that those who fornicate will not inherit the Kingdom of God. So does this mean I have lost my place in Heaven?

1 Corinthians 6:
9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Yes you are guilty of fornication but it is not your identity for you were washed clean by the blood of Christ if you have faith in him and if he is Lord of your life. If you have a place in heaven you cannot lose it. God can forgive all sins.

You say you've lost your purity because you've had sex. But you lost your purity long before that. The Bible is clear that we are born as sinful beings. You've been sinning your whole life not just by having sex. Why am I saying this? Being harsh? Because to overcome sin we really need to have a clear picture of our place in relation to God. God is sovereign over his whole creation and if he gave us what we deserved we'd all be burning in hell right now. Out of love, by his grace he has chosen to save people through Jesus. But we can only have that grace and eternal life if we have faith in Christ - to have faith that He is who he claimed: Lord. Is Jesus Lord of your life? Are you following him with every fiber of your being?

Lust is a terrible sin as it harms you, people around you, non-Christians who look at you as an example of what a Christian should be, and it also harms your future wife. It is a difficult thing to overcome, and it will take time. You will not overcome it today, this week or this month. It will take time. Pour your heart out to God. Confess your sins (be specific), ask for forgiveness, renew your mind by reading God's word every day (twice a day, or whatever it takes), and repent of your sins. This is different that asking for forgiveness it is an active turning away from sin. You can't just try and stop lusting you need to turn away from it and toward something else. Find a way to overcome it. If there is something that causes you to sin kill it. If your right hand causes you to sin cut it off, for it is better to enter the kingdom of God without it than to burn in hell.

From one sinner to another, I'll pray for you.

This is the same problem you had in the other thread- you need the Holy Spirit, and after that your sins, including premarital sex, will be forgiven. After you receive the Holy Spirit, stuff you did before that point won't matter anymore because God has forgiven it. Then sins after your conversion are washed away when you pray for God's forgiveness regularly.

I am truly sorry for my sins. Which is why I want to be Baptized again. I feel I didnt know Christ enough the first time I got baptized which lead me to sin the same sins that lead me to baptism.
Sounds like a great idea. But don't expect any magic. Baptism is only an outward
indicator that you have been changed.

The scripture you are referring to means that those who make a lifetyle of fornication will not enter Heaven. because Grace is the power to Change not a free ticket to sin. if you read the scripture before and after the verse you will find that this is what Paul is talking about. it is important to read a good translations NASB being the best and it is important to read scripture in context. Most weird passeges are explained with an understanding of the culture.

The law is there to show us that we are sinners and that there is nothing we can do to get to Heaven. So the Law has done its job in you.

Now you Need to hear the good News. which is that Jesus Christ has paid for all you sin and you are going to Get what you don't deserve. which is a life free of sin and an eternity in heaven.

But in order to recive what Jesus paid for you have to take off the old cloths and put on the wedding cloths. take of your old nature and Learn to be led by the Holy Spirit.
This is a proses that everyone must work out. Remember your actions show what you really believe. and everything you believe is a choice that you make by force of your own will.

If you believe that you are a sinner and that God hates sinners and that you are problably going to hell than your actions will back up your belifs.

I Have struggled hard core with sin, conquoring sin for me has been a slow battle. But it doesn't have to be. Hear are some tips for victory.

Stop trying to earn your salvation by not sinning. even if you could live without sin from now on you would still go to hell for the sins you have commited.

Choose to believe that Jesus Christ has paid your bail and you are destined for Heaven as a free guift of love form God.

When you fall in love with God it is ez not to sin. it is also ez to pray and fast. it is imposible to fall in love with God when you are worried about Him burning you alive in hell. That is why Jesus Christ died for us so we can stop worrying about it and fall in love with Him. this helped me out big time.

THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO MAKE GOD LOVE YOU ANY MORE
THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO MAKE GOD LOVE YOU ANY LESS
GOD LOVES YOU

as a side note:
touching yourself is not a sin
Lust is a sin
Lust is when you look at a woman with an evil desire in your heart
a good way to recognise lust is when you stare at a woman who is not your wife. it is natural to notice beutiful women but to stare and study is usually if not allways lust.

therefore . . . touching yourself without visuals is not sin becaus it is not lust.
our sexuality is not sinful when we get rid of the demonic and become a temple of the Holy Spirit.

You are beating yourself up for no reason - This is not how God sees you - The Bible says when you confess your sins that God throws them into the sea of forgetfullness and if you ask forgiveness for them again - God says 'what sins' - they are gone - you need to look in the mirror and see yourself as God sees you - washed in the Blood of Jesus and your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Take the Bible for what it says - not how you feel. God means what He says - He is not sitting Heaven thinking - well today he's not saved, maybe tomorrow he will be sincere. No - God says when you confess your sins and repent and ask Jesus to be Lord of your life that you are saved.

You need to go forward and know that you are saved and move forward and closer to Jesus, letting the Holy Spirit guide you.

You are human, you will have thoughts that you should not have - cast them out of your mind and get your mind on other things. God will bring the right person to you - you don't need to be jumping from one person to another. You will always be tempted. But you can build your faith in Jesus and be able to be strong in your temptation.

Get up in the morning and hold your head high and say this is the first day of my life, walk it with Jesus and let Him be your strength.
