If you will read in your bible LUKE 18 about thr persistant widow and let me know what you get from it, i will greatly appreciate it. I have been studying prayer and there are so many faucets that go with it... and Luke 18 and the persistant widow seem to me to be speaking about prayer..to pray and not to give up, b/c if we are his chidren, he will hear and answer...

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, Tanya, I just love this portion of the word. We must all be like the persitant widow, praying, not losing heart, to be avenged of our opponent.

SO true..but it gets hard sometimes not to lose heart..But that I think is where breakthrough comes in also..when the devil is really guving you a hard time and you want to give up...like Luke 18 says...DO NOT and when you don't your breakthrough comes...I love to defeat the devil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
