I was moved by the reading from the Acts of the Apostles today. It was amazing to see the power of St. Stephen's faith and of the Spirit. It was most reassuring to see what having the Spirit inside of you is capable of.
However, this was contrasted by sadness, not only with Stephen being arrested for speaking the Truth, but the fact that lies had to be made up about him in order to stop him.
Alas, the flaws of humanity.
