hey guys its been a while but im feeling convicted to show as much love to everyone. just before when my friend dropped me off, he said "glad you came" i said "all right" and gave eye contact. I want to show so much more love though and I feel bad I ended it without giving love. If there is any advice please...I do love others its just that when I catch myself not doing it once out of many times...I feel so bad. Thank God that I realized this though.

Greetings and Happy New Year!!
I have many friends whom I hardly say I love you much. But my actions speaks louder than the words. I have found I Love you have come to be used in ways not meant. To me its like when folks hear something and says Lord have mercy...not asking to have mercy, but just allowing it to become a slang, a point. If you have develop true friendship, lasting relationships then these people know your heart and the real you. Jesus didn't go around telling everyone He loved them, but His actions did and always showed them. Yet, when lead for Him to speak those words He did!! Pray and ask God to allow the Holy Spirit to help you to release those divine words as needed.
Blessings

Jesus spoke of loving God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind; and loving our fellowman as ourself.

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. <-----> Luke 10:27

Loving God helps us see others as He does - as one's for whom His Son Jesus died.

Which adds a great value and significance to every one's life, which we would not otherwise perceive or possess.

May The Lord Be Pleased to Bless !

Dear Phil1992. Jesus told us that " Love God with all our hearts, all our souls, and all our minds, and love our neighbour as ourselves," on these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. Jesus also told Nicodemus: " you must be born again," and Jesus told us" Repent." That alltogether means that we have to exchange our character of being selfish and unloving, into a character of loving and caring: become a new person, be reborn. You are doing that already, Phil, but often forget. A good way to remember always: treat everybody you know and meet, as you would like to be treated, change from your old to a new YOU. If you keep telling yourself to be like that always, it will become second nature to you. You might stumble a bit at first, but ask Jesus for His Love and Joy to share with each other, and keep asking the Holy Spirit to empower you with His Love. And whenever you feel that you need God`s Forgiveness, remember what Jesus taught us to pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, forgive us our sins as we will forgive those who sin against us. "Keep doing that, Phil, and to love like God wants us to love, will turn you into a "born-again young man." I say this with love. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.
