I don't get any love letters anymore... when we first met in person, I got a couple cute e-mails.

Yeah, I don't really get love letters. I kinda wish I did. But my fiance does jot me quick e-mails and signs them in really cute ways that tell me he loves me. He also tells me how he feels verbally. He DID get me a card once that had a love poem already in it. Then he wrote a few sweet things. But I wish he'd do things like that more often. Hmm, maybe I should tell him that I want love letters!

I used to get a carnation every Friday and he wrote some cute things on the little card that came with the flower... that was sweet. Then that suddenly stopped.
I had my Christmas banquet Thursday night and a lot of girls received flowers, he told me he felt bad. I even thought he arrived late to get me because he was planning a surprise!

That's disappointing. Does he have enough money to continue that tradition? Maybe that's why he's stopped.

Yeah, he does have enough. He makes almost double what my mom makes!

Whoa, must be nice to have a boyfriend with so much money! Mine is in debt!

Anyways, maybe talk to him about it. Tell him that you would absolutely love it if he showed his love for you more often. Just a thought. I don't know how important those things are to you. But if your love language is gifts, then definitely talk to him about it.

I need to be constantly reminded that he loves me, sad but true. That is a fault of mine. This guy isn't one that shows love very well through words or actions either. But we love each other. I am getting better lately, I used to be depressed but I realized if he didn't like me, he wouldn't be with me in the first place.

I'm the same way. But I'm very blessed because my fiance is CONSTANTLY showing how much he loves me.

He calls me honey and it makes me melt the way he says it sometimes!

well were supposed to constantly remind each other how much we love each other.... our loved ones really arent supposed to have to wonder or reason it out that we really do love them... and its easier for the female partner to begin to wonder too i think... since they need more affection and emotional support whereas men dont need those things as much. women seem to be more tender... men can go a month without an i love you sometimes i think, were hardheaded and not as analytical as women are.

but this is something many naive young men just arent aware of... even though they mean well, ya know?

Whoa, what you just said does not describe my fiance at all! He's just like me. He needs to be shown and told how much I love him and he needs to feel like I need him. But yeah, I am so glad that both he and I are aware of the fact that we both need to feel loved. It helps to keep our relationship strong and healthy.
