Re: Forum SoP

We recognize that sincere non-Christian seekers are looking for real answers, and the first reply given may be insufficient to achieve this. It is acceptable for the Original Poster (OP) to probe the answers given, and to continue the discussion on lines which help to clarify their understanding of the Christian faith. If another non-Christian seeker wishes to ask questions about the Christian faith, they may start their own thread.
No more than one non-Christian Seeker (the OP) may post in a thread.

I have a question.

Is your relationship with your God centred on loving other people?

No, this is an unavoidable by-product of loving God but it is not the center of my relationship with God. God Himself is the Center of my relationship with Him (which seems obvious to me...).

What does this love actually look like when you have no solid information to offer people other than personal experience, emotional association's, pattern synchronisation (Possible auditory stimuli, but not sure on that one)

What does loving God look like? It is having an over-riding passion to know Him; it is a longing to walk with Him through every moment of every day; it is a deep desire for intimate fellowship with God.

My love for God manifests in a single-minded pursuit of Him in prayer and in study of His word; in constant dependence upon, and submission to, Him; in obedience to His will and way, and in enthusiastic praise of Him.

All completely internalized, and individually indentified as evidence of God's love for you.

God's love for me is plainly described in Scripture. It is not merely a subjective experience. God's love for all of His children is sacrificial, gracious, patient, merciful, holy, just, truthful, faithful. It is most powerfully revealed in the atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross for sin. Paul the apostle describes "agape" love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

And I use Christian lives as evidence of the reality that whatever they may believe does nothing.

Then you have not looked at the world or examined where your ideas come from.

Please state from what philisophical source your ideas come from.
Equality under the law and presumtion of innocence is a judeochristian idea that atheists 'borrow'.
