I'm still waiting for a clear answer from you and VC. For about the seventh time.

Do you believe it's okay to freely, willfuly and with knowledge, break one of the Ten Commandments?
I did answer your question. Here it is again: I believe it's 'okay' to freely, willfully and with knowledge recognize that being joined to Christ means I cannot be under the old covenant and that, as a Gentile, it was never a covenant that God made with me.

And I'll add to it. I don't believe it's possible for me to break a covenant that scripture tells me I am not under, nor was I ever under.

Your questions are being answered every time. You still have not addressed ANY passage of scripture I have presented in ANY thread, nor have you answered ANY questions posed to you. It is dishonest of you to pretend you're in conversation in the threads YOU started when you will not acknowledge those scriptures clearly presented on the topic at hand, nor answer any of the questions you've been asked.

Time to step up to the plate, k4c.

Do you believe honoring your father and mother has a promise attached to it?

Ephesians 6:13 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother,'' which is the first commandment with promise: "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.''

What do you think he was referring to when he said this, "which is the first commandment with promise"?

Do you believe it's a sin to dishonor your mother and father?

I believe there is a lot more to sin than you're willing to admit.
However, failing to honor your father and your mother isn't a transgression of a law that was taken away, and you admitted yourself that the first covenant was taken away.

The first covenant was the ten commandments engraved on tables of stone, and the book of the law that you read the ten commandments from.
Gone.
Taken away.
By the hand of Jesus Christ.
Satan didn't take them away.
Mankind didn't change them.
God took the covenant engraved on tables of stone away.

Romans 4
14 For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect,
15 because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.

Isn't that a command of the old covenant? I think I clearly answered regarding being under the old covenant. Now...answer the questions I have asked you.

Are you going to keep asking the same question until you get the answer you would give?

I have answered with clear and sound scriptural teaching backing up why I believe the answer I gave. If you disagree with my belief, then address the passages I've used. What do you expect by asking the same question I just answered over again? That doesn't make sense.

Maybe we could enter back into having a discussion? You've started these threads and I'm here to discuss, not play games.
