Personality:
Lothíriel has a range of personality traits. When treated with kindness, she is a close and loyal ally; when treated with respect, she is friendly; when treated with indifference, she becomes cold and unfeeling; and when treated ill, she returns the treatment with a vengeance. Her temper flares up on occasion, and she has had no influence from others as to the subtleties of politics. Her emotions are therefore the pure, unadultored kind, untainted by policies, agendas and ulterior motives.
Brief History:
Lothíriel’s mother was the wife of Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth, a high-ranking captain in Gondor’s army. When Imrahil was at the fronts with the large part of his men, a large fleet of the Corsairs of Umbar raided the port of Dol Amroth and took many captives of the women and children left behind. Lothíriel’s mother was one of these, unable to escape because she was several months pregnant. The corsairs sent many of the captives to Minas Morgul to work as thralls producing the food that fed Mordor’s armies. Her mother hid her pregnancy for as long as possible before her child was born, knowing the torture that the orcs, men and Ringwraiths inflicted upon the helpless. For a long while, Lothíriel was hidden, until she was old enough to be of some use in the fields. For years, the girl’s heritage was kept from her, until her mother became ill and slowly wasted away. Before she passed away, she told her daughter that she was the only daughter of a Prince who lived by the Sea. Then, she died.
Lothíriel felt no desire to find her father, but became intent on finding a way out of Minas Morgul. The only way, she deemed, was almost suicide – the only directions you could take from the Morgul Vale are East, to Cirith Ungol, and the slave fields west of Lake Nenuial; or West, down the road that ran straight up to Minis Morgul’s gates, edged with steep precipices and traveled by orcs. However, she was resolved to find a way, nonetheless.
Physical Appearance:
Height: 5’6”
Hair: Perfectly black, and cut short for convenience and at the order of the thrall-masters.
Eyes: A deep gray, with only flecks of blue.
