Lose it or Never have it?

I would rather experience it and lose it.

You live this life once and then you die. Does the inevitable death at the end make it so that it would have been better to not have lived at all? I don't think so. Love, and any other great experience for that matter, is no different.

I've never thought that happiness is a state in which we endure. Not in this life, anyway. It is something glimpsed in the moment. So yes, I would love and lose. Love is worth dying for. It's certainly worth the risk of heartbreak.
