I've just taken an interest in jazz and blues music, so I'm looking for some popular Christian blues artists. I'm linking a clip of a blues riff from Vox Amps website. If anyone knows an artist who has a style similar to that, could you please help me out? Thanks

Eric Bibb and Walter Trout. Eric is at the forefront of contemporary acoustic Blues music and Walter is IMO, one of the greatest ever exponents of electric Blues guitar.

Eric Bibb - Painting Signs. A good CD to start with.

Walter Trout - Relentless. This is available on both CD & DVD.

Both musicians are committed Christians.

That clip sounded has the Stevie Ray Vaughn Texas blues sound. I like it too because it has that grity edge to it. The "overdriven" sound used today by Christian rock bands is too artificial in my opinion, it's needs to be more of a "vintage" tube tone than the "modern" distortion that comes from a solid state amp.
If you play guitar and want to get that sound, get a Fender Srat with Rio Grande pick ups, a good tube amp, and an Ibanez T 808 "tube screamer" pedal.
Most artist playing that sound are bluesmen going after that "Stevie Ray Vaughn" sound. Stevie was heavly influenced by Albert King. As far modern players are concerned try Johnny Lang.
