CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi, Auncy; just wanted to pop in and see if Rosey was around.
I wanted to say I missed you all so much.
We had a nice visit in Anaheim, and then back home to deal with bored kids and one summer schooling and still house hunting.

Hi everyone. I now have two of my neighbors in the hospital.
I took my neighbor Jan to the emergency room on Tuesday night....they didn't keep her then...sent her home at 2:30 in the early morning....her pain got progressively worse....migraine.....so tonight I took her to our family doctor who admitted her into the hospital. Her blood pressure was 240/120. She really didn't want to go into the hospital. She has 5 dogs at her home and no family to turn to for help. I will be running back and forth between the hospital and her house to look after things for her. Could you please keep her and her doggies in prayer. Thanks.
