Looking for christian friends

I am new to this christian forum. I am a 28 years old Afghan girl living in the Netherlands. I was born in a Muslim family, have been an atheist for over a decade and fortunately now I beleive in God again. I am interested to learn about the Christian faith and would love to find friends who could help me in this journey. I hope I find friends here.

I have not read the bible yet, I have read some verses online but I don't understand the message of those verses...I do know a lil bit about chrisitanity so would appreciate help from a christian.

I don't have any religion at this moment. I am not a muslim, a christian, a budhist, a hindi, a sikh etc etc. I just beleive that there is a big power (GOD) and I beleive in his presence. so I don't know what to call myself.

A former Dutch politician from the Labour party would call you an 'ietsist'. Which means that you believe in 'something'. You belong actually to the biggest group in our country from a philosophical viewpoint.

I would call you more an agnostic or someone seeking the truth? Just happy you wish to learn more about Christianity, it is a faith journey much more different than the other ones. You may have not noticed God before in your life, but God has always held you in his precious hands and protected your from the very first day....you came into this world. Every day we should thank God and be grateful for loving us and showing us his never ending mercy....

Every day we should give thanks, for all that we have in our lives. You take a stand and praise God on earth, he will take a stand and praise you even more in heaven
