Dan 8 does not say that the little horn stops the daily sacrifice after the 2300 day-for-year timeline of Dan 8:14 ends.
I agree, not after the 2300 days, but during the 2300 days.

day-for-year is not in the Daniel 8 text. That day-for-year representation only applied to when Ezekiel laid on his side Ezekiel 4 as instructed by the Lord, who stated 390 days of Ezekiel laying on his left side for 390 years of siege against the house of Israel, and 40 days of Ezkiel laying his right side for 40 years of siege against the house of Judah.

The 2300 days is from when the daily sacrifices are begun again in the near future temple - to the day the Jesus returns to break the little horn person.

Rather as both Dan 7 and 8 show - the little horn does damage all during the 1260 day-for-year timeline in Dan 7 and all during the 2300 day-for-year timeline in Dan 8. (the two timelines overlap).
day-for-year is not in either Daniel 7 or Daniel 8 text. Daniel did not lay on his side like Ezekiel - who the Lord instructed Ezekiel to do so, and why. Differently, Daniel was presented a vision, and was explained what the vision meant.

The 1260 day portion of the timeline precedes the 42 months of the beast-king's rule. You don't have a text, that Ezekiel laid on his side to represents months as years.

Day for year is in Dan 9 where the 70 weeks are 490 days-for-year and this is the same thing with all apocalyptic timelines in Dan 7,8,9, Rev 11,12,13 etc. Instead of each chapter using a different apocalyptic timeline rule - they all use the same one.

It is also used in Numbers 14:34 In accordance with the number of days that you spied out the land, forty days, for every day you shall suffer the punishment for your guilt a year, that is, forty years, and you will know My opposition.

day-for-year is not in Daniel 9. Daniel was not instructed to lay on his side by the Lord, 490 days like Ezekiel was told for the 390 days and the 40 days, with each day representing a year.

The weeks in Daniel 9 are weeks of years. In Daniel 9:27 it does not say the person will confirm the covenant for "7 days", but for one week.

There is no universal day-for-year rule stated anywhere in the bible. Such a rule does not exist.

Well then; the forthcoming events will be a surprise for you.
The Prophets tell us that the end times will be a surprise for most people. Daniel 12:10 says that only a few will understand, and Isaiah 48: You cannot hear, your understanding has been blocked......Also Isaiah 42:18-20 Who is so blind as My servants......?

Plainly God does not want people to know what is coming, because it is to be our great test of faith. 1 Peter 4:12
However, Peter gives us the clue. it will be our test by fire.
This forthcoming worldwide disaster by fire, is prophesied over 70 times in the Bible and that Day, when the Lord will send His fiery wrath, will commence all the rest of the Prophesied end times things, culminating in the glorious Return of Jesus.
THEN; understanding will be given. Isaiah 35:4-5, Isaiah 32:3-4

What to do?
First thing is to put aside all previously held beliefs, the 'rapture to heaven' being the worst false teaching that has fooled millions; making them complacent and careless about what really will happen.
We have the sequence and the description of events; as given in Revelation. Why not believe it? Yes; some is metaphorical, but it isn't hard to figure them out.
It is quite obvious that the next Prophesied event will be the Lord's Day of vengeance and wrath, a worldwide reset of our civilization. Be ready and when it happens, know that it is the Lord's doing.
