I know that a lot of folks will say to wait after a breakup, but I really think it depends on the person and their own readiness. When I met my husband I was in the middle of a bad breakup, and I was DEFINITELY not looking to stumble into a new relationship. Thank God I did not listen to the naysayers! Basically, when you meet THE right person, you need to go for it.

Sometimes God has a humorous sense of timing and catches us off guard at the (seemingly) worst possible moment. He chooses to bless us in His own good time, not according to what we think is good timing.
If the love is real, it will grow and thrive even in adverse conditions (including in the wake of a bad relationship). Although I wouldn't rush into any commitments during the first few months. Just enjoy it and let it develop. And try not to let any negative baggage interfere.
God bless!
