Looking for a verse!!

I cannot find this and i'm not sure why. I'm looking for a verse that talks about Jesus being like a foundation. And we build on it with a bunch of garbage like broken planks, but it it made glorious because of the foundation.

I know this is vague, but it's all i can remember. I read it recently but i read so many different places that i can't remember where it's from.

What NJA quoted is also what came to my mind. Somewhat related is that Jesus' words were a foundation. It's found in Matthew 7:24-27 and also appears in Luke 6:46-49. Also in various places Jesus is referred to the cornerstone, which is a part of a foundation.
