I use a NKJV study bible mostly at the moment, which I think is quite nice. I think the NKJV reads quite well and is pretty good accuracy, though I have a NASB to hand and some other versions too.

I like Local Bible Publishers KJV bibles. The leather is absolutely beautiful. The one I bought was a note-takers bible, which is a little larger than I had expected, but it has lovely print and lots of note space. Again, the leather is so lovely on those bibles, and their prices are surprisingly reasonable for a leather bible, but then again it might not be the type you are looking for. I'm not sure what study bibles they provide.

I also have a Henry Morris study bible and a Ryrie study bible, though not sure if those are your types either. My favorite reference bible is the Thompson Chain reference study bible, since it is so extensive and full of so many comparison verse references and even history. They can be expensive though; I got mine used for a slightly cheaper cost, though the pages are thinner than I would have liked, but I suppose that is to be expected with such an extensive reference type of bible.

1. John didn’t have to be named Ěliyahu to be Ěliyahu.
2. Prophecy was happening and the people didn’t see it.

17 But they pressed upon him till he was ashamed, and he said, “Send.” So they sent fifty men, and they searched for three days but did not find him.
18 And they returned to him, for he remained in Jericho, and he said to them, “Did I not say to you, ‘Do not go’?”
19 And the men of the city said to Elisha, “Look, the site of this city is good, as my master sees, but the waters are spoilt, and the soil barren.”
In verse 9, Elisha asked for double portion. Verses 10-12 confirm that Elisha (The Servant) received a double portion of the spirit of Ěliyahu. ” My Father, My Father, the Chariot of Israel and its horsemen.”

2 Kings 2:19-22 #water
19 And the men of the city said to Elisha, “Look, the site of this city is good, as my master sees, but the waters are spoilt, and the soil barren.”
20 And he said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” And they brought it to him.
21 And he went out to the source of the water, and threw salt in there, and said, “Thus said Yahuah , ‘I have healed this water – no longer shall death or barrenness come from it.
22 And the waters were healed, to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.

John 2:1-12 #water
1 And on the third day there was a wedding in Qanah of Galil, and the mother of Yahusha was there.
2 And both Yahusha and His taught ones were invited to the wedding.
3 And when they were short of wine, the mother of Yahusha said to Him, “They have no wine.”

12 After this He went down to Kephar Naḥum, He and His mother, and His brothers, and His taught ones. And there they stayed not many days.

Examination of the name Ěliyahu. Who is Ěliyahu’s spirit?

1. “El“ as in Ěl Shaddai or #AlShadday means Almighty Powers
Exodus 6:3
“And I appeared to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Ya‛aqoḇ, as Ěl Shaddai. And by My Name, Yahuah , was I not known to them?

2. “Jah/Yah“
Psalms 68:4
Sing to Elohim, sing praises to His Name. Raise up a highway for Him Who rides through the deserts, By His Name YAH, And exult before Him.

HallaluYAH! KumbaYAH!
Combined we see ĚL-i-YAH-u means Almighty Power(s) of YAH. So a double portion of Ěliyahu’s spirit went to Elisha, the servant.

Yahuchanon is Ěliyahu who preceeds Mashyach (Bondservant)
Philippians 2:5-11 #Bondservant
5 For, let this mind be in you which was also in Mashyach Yahusha,
6 who, being in the form of Elohim, did not regard equality with Elohim a matter to be grasped,
7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, and came to be in the likeness of men.

language and thought that to be the KJV (also verses from that Bible aren't taken out like the others). Now, in saying that I know translations are very tricky, but I also know from various translations (mainly the popular ones like NIV, ESV, NLT, ect) I've noticed inconsistencies and more in preparation for the New World Order. That actually is what led me astray for a very long time.

Ahhh, now I understand! Wow, how time passes!

For my own reasons, yes, I stick with the KJV as my main, but that doesn't mean I don't use other Bibles as reference either. I am looking only for God's perspective, not anyone else'.

Well, #1 is considered conspiracy theory and this is not the thread for such discussion, but #2 on the other hand...

Through careful and diligent seeking for His perspective, I read His word aka: the Bible and wait and listen for Him to speak to me through others, as you constantly see in the Bible that He works through people.
