  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am getting devotions online every morning that help me be a better house keeper right now.
I'd love some devotions for a husband to reach out and touch the heart of his wife. My husband could use that sort of encouragement. He has asked. I'm not forcing it on him hehe ;)

I'd be interested in devotions to show my husband I love him as a Christian wife as well...

I look forward to browsing this huge forum! After I clean some more LOL

Hi, Chamudah!

I ran a quick google search for you, and I found a list of excellent devotionals from http://www.crosswalk.com/devotionals/ .

I didn't see any that were specifically for husbands or wives, but I think many of them would still be relevant.

A personal recommendation would be 'My Utmost For His Highest' by Oswald Chambers. You can find it online daily at http://www.rbc.org/utmost/index.php . My husband and I read it together every morning and we love it. =)

To the OP, I'd like to see what you've found for housecleaning devotionals... :) I could use some myself...
It's not so much devotionals, but Flylady.net has been helping inspire me to be neater. It's amazing actually. I have been so lazy, and this site showed me how to start small but make big changes.
I'm doing Proverbs31 ministires devotionals in the morning. They don't come early enough so my husband suggested I do another one one day and save that day's devotions for the next day, so I can have it early like I want :c)

Anyway, FLYlady.net helps lots!!
