Long distance

My SO and I have been in a LDR for almost 5 years...although I consider the true starting point of our relationship 2 years ago, for that was when we actually met in person (the 3 years before were made of chatting, phone calls, and a temporary seperation) He's in Wisconsin and I'm in Pennsylvania We see each other every 8-10 weeks. It's tough being apart, but the times we're together are so wonderful.

Hey folks,

I'm in an LDR too. I'm out on the road, traveling from town to town every day, so it's hard. We talk all the time: often six or seven e-mails back and forth everyday, IM, phone conversations. I sent her a postcard once, but it's hard for me to get mail...

In fact I've only seen her in person twice, and the first time I didn't know her yet. Weird, huh?

It's hard to believe how much I can miss her even though I've only spent maybe two or three hours with her.

But it is working pretty well, I think. Since my job is seasonal, we can look forward to when I can go and see her. (less than five weeks and counting!)

And Amy, if you're reading this, I love you!
