Dear one,
Are you looking for God’s compassion?
What is the meaning of compassion ?
This is what I have heard, that is, in latin literally means “to suffer with”.

Let me ask you, dear one.
Why Lord Jesus Christ have spoken this :

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. -Matthew 11:29

Why the Lord offer His yoke to take upon you ? Isn’t the Lord telling you that He is willing to suffer with you ? Isn’t He saying that He is willing to share your sufferings ? So are you willing to take His yoke ? ; that you may taste and see that the Lord is compassionate.

For this is what we have heard:
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Selah -Psalms 68:19

What does the Lord bear up ? Aren’t they our burdens, afflictions and sufferings ?

It's a pleasure. I really meant what I said. I know what you mean about the lack of sensitivity in the world. The world is desensitized. I can't wait for love to be restored back to what it's meant to be.

Why many found themselves far from love ? Yes, far from love of God in Christ Jesus !!!

Weren’t they living in doubt that they weren’t loved ? Weren’t they living in confusion - being not loved ? Weren’t they living in fear of loneliness - being uncared or loved ?

So let us understand — are doubts, confusion, and fear ? Are they of God ? Are they of the enemies? Are they of you ?

God doesn’t that makes you doubt, confused and fearful.

Likewise, why many believe that doubts, confusion and fear are from themselves? It doesn’t make sense that why we want to make ourselves doubtful, confused and fearful ; it doesn’t help ; why we want to make our lives miserable? Just don’t make sense !

So it is obvious that the enemies who make us doubt, confused and living in fear including loneliness.

For this is what we have heard:
in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience' -Ephesians 2:2
among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. -Ephesians 2:3

So when we lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of body and mind — we sinned ! That was not only what happened! We were following the prince of the power of the air — the enemy — the evil spirit, that is, the Devil.

Do Devil work alone ? No !
For the Lord has mentioned in Luke 8:5.
So doubts, confusion, fear, anxiety, heaviness/ fainting are of the Devil; they are his minions.

Having known this truth that we have heard !
We not only need to repent but also seek the Lord’s deliverance.

When we have been delivered from the power of the enemies ! This truth is what we have heard that we may find hope of the Lord’s steadfast love:

But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: -Lamentations 3:21
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; -Lamentations 3:22
they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. -Lamentations 3:23
"The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him." -Lamentations 3:24
The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. -Lamentations 3:25

What has been revealed about the steadfast love of the Lord to David ?

This is what we have heard:
Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the LORD. -Psalms 32:10

So have you trusted in the Lord so that the manifestation of the steadfast love of the Lord surround you ?

If you have trusted in the Lord ! Have you obeyed Him ?
If you say that you have obeyed ! Have you obeyed what you are taught in Him ?

For this is what we have heard:
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. -John 3:36

so let us keep the Lord’s commandments, surely we will abide in His love. ( as the Lord have spoken in John 15:10 )

You are right. You have a strong connection to God, I can tell. I have only just recently overcome my loneliness and pain, so I am still new in walking free from these feelings. But I can learn from you. Your connection to God has deep roots already. Mine has just started growing roots.

Jesus said, "Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14.

He can give us that love we need.

Dear one,
I was once so depressed and lonely that I cannot pray or even read Bible or meditate God’s words. I hate myself and the life that I lived. Also, I didn’t know what to do. I have no strength and no hope.

This is what I have heard:
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. -Isaiah 40:31

Yes, I have heard this verse earlier in my life but I just don’t know how to apply to my life.

Till I was told : if you can wait for a doctor, you can wait for God. Wait is wait ! How by waiting that I can find the strength of God !
But I knew that I have used all my resources whether intellectual or others, just don’t work! So I waited then for an hour, sometimes for 3 hours. Yes, I waited for God. Though naturally it seems nothing change ! I was told that I just need to believe something spiritual change happens ! Why ? Because God knew that I wait for Him.

Eventually, I able to find strength to look for prayer from the Bible and those whom I consider honorable and live a holy life.

Eventually, the word “the strength of God” mean something to me ; that I need most.

This verse enlightened me :
that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, -Ephesians 3:16
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith'that you, being rooted and grounded in love, -Ephesians 3:17

As I meditate these verses : I come to understand and perceive about the strength of the Lord.

So dear one,
I was lost but now found in Christ.
I should have died but the Lord rescued me.

So dear one,
Lord Jesus Christ is very precious and dear to me.

Dear one,
Before I understood and perceived about what our Lord have said in the parable of sower ; I didn’t like what I heard from the parable of the sower in Matthew 13.

I felt remorse ! The seeds sowed fell along the path, on the rock, and fell among thorns. The ground of my heart was no ready to receive the word of God. How and when the ground of my heart be like the good soil that the Lord have spoken of ?! Yes, I had astrayed and was in despair.

Till I heard this strong words from a sermon :

Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD. -Jeremiah 17:5
He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. -Jeremiah 17:6

I was surprised and shocked to know that I was cursed ! But I meditate to understand why God have said this !

Truthfully, I found that I had trusted myself and believe in my abilities and resources as my strength — that what the Lord had seen about the condition of the ground of my heart — that I had turned away from Him.

So I repent and seek His mercy.
And the Lord gives me grace to understand more what He also have said :

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. -Jeremiah 17:7
He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit." -Jeremiah 17:8

So the Lord have said that I will bless you if you trust in me ; eventually I understand to trust in the Lord means that I have to obey Him and be taught in Him.

In this manner, I can break my fallow ground or that I can ask the Lord to give me strength to forsake my wicked ways and abandon my unrighteous thoughts.

That is how I come to the Lord daily believing that He gives me strength to stop doing evil and hate evil !

Thus, remove the ground of my heart from weeds.

That is how the Lord prepare the ground of my heart to be a good soil that can receive His words.

I'm 21 years old and for the past 3 years I have felt very lonely in the sense that I lack affection and love and I really desire being in a relationship. It's been progressively harder to bear, because I was praying for a partner a lot with faith that I'll find somebody good for me. I used to go to church every Sunday and when I sat down I saw plenty of couples of people in my age that started gathering in front of me, as if God was trying to make a joke out of my situation, whatever would be the reason for that. It felt really bad. I've heard multiple times from priests and other people that God allows loneliness to me to make me look for him, or that he tests my faith, or that he never promised me wife, which is probably the most ridiculous one, as if it mattered at all whether God promised me that or not. It's a natural and normal need to have and because it hasn't been fulfilled for quite some time it raises a lot of questions. Does God really care for me? Does God love me? How long will I have to suffer? Does God want to make me feel depressed? Does he even exist? I really don't want to abandon faith completely but I don't even have the strength to pray anymore. Maybe you had similiar experience to me?

Hey brother, I would like to give you some advice. First, God is sovereign. He reigns supreme and orders the universe. Trust in Him. Lean into Him. 16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, KJV). Secondly, seeing his total control and sovereignty trust his promises: we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. (Romans 8:28, KJV). Therefore, be content in your afflictions, in your distresses, like Paul, in your weaknesses. Listen to God, see how God moves in your life, everything that happens in your life is God speaking to you, your story being revealed as you move through time, and rejoice in it. "Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith" (Hebrews 12:1-2, KJV). God wants to be the center of your life. Where do your thoughts lead you? Do you think you are incomplete? That you are missing something? Why do you think that? Do you think you know better than God? "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." (2 Corinthians 12:10, KJV). Ask yourself if you actually want a wife right now or if you feel like there is something inside of you that is lacking that you think a woman loving and desiring you that would make you feel whole. I assure you that you are not lacking as you may think or feel, and that your thoughts of yourself are not anywhere how God sees you. Read ecclesiastes. There are seasons and times for everything. Trust that you are exactly where you need to be right now, and thank God for it!

Now I've already spoken on God's sovereignty, and I don't pretend to understand the relationship of his omniscence, providence and sovereignty with free will, other than that we apparently can make decisions. I also know that wives don't just grow on trees, unfortunately. They don't just fall into your lap either, so to speak. If you want a wife or companionship or to get to know a woman or befriend one or have some genuine wholesome relationship with the fairer sex, you will want to approach them, talk to them, get to know them and ultimately spend time with them.
