i just remember the news readers saying that some terrorist groups might step up and claim that this is their work even if it isn't.

I agree with you Miss Music. What did anyone hope to gain by killing innocent people? It is indeed sick and unhuman. Who in their right minds would be happy at the results of such an atrocity?
