In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi-

I have been looking to get some Bible software and have narrowed it down to Logos Series X Christian Home Library or Biblesoft's New Reference Library. I don't need anything super duper and I know there are some free ones out there (e-sword, etc.) but was looking for a little more. The one thing is that I need NIV and the Logo Christian Home doesn't come with it. Can I buy that as an extra addin? Logo's email support hasn't replied once yet.

Other than that can any users tell me which they think is better between Logos and Biblesoft for a beginner? I really think I like Biblesofts ability to incorporate regular MS Word files into the library. Can Logos do something like that?

I have logos pc bible at the house, it is ok and it is true there is no niv version, but if you get the software "now thats what i call bible" software, you get 3 differnt cross references, also you get 2 kjv bibles. and a dictionary and thesaurus. so i recomend it.
