Logo help

Hey y'all-

I'm working on getting my YouTube channel going and reaching the point of monetization. To help with this push I decided I want to make business cards with my URL and a cute little logo to hand out at a convention I'm going to in a few weeks so I can take pics and video and then give the card out as a place to find the finished video.

Problem is I don't have a logo yet. So this is a two part question-
1- what should my logo be? My cat? Anime version of my boyfriend and me? A peach? Other idea?
2- do you know of any place where you can cheaply commission kawaii art? Either that or any tips on how to make a drawing I do into a professional looking logo?

Any info or ideas help!!

I think anime you and your boyfriend may be too hard to add to a business card. I have made one in a digital design class. Your logo is best small and simple, but meaningful. What type of channel, type of content, and intended audience also affects what logos would be best (or, an xbox controller isn't a good choice for a makeup channel (also probably copyright issues)). Anything that looks too similar to a big brand (Apple, Windows, Acura, Lexus, etc.) should probably be avoided for confusion and copyright reasons.

Sure- that would be a helpful thing to do whoops!

I do a variety of types of videos on my channel- fun challenges, travel, fashion reviews, talking about the disease I have and how I'm progressing, costume stuff, and every Tuesday I make tacos out of something odd My cat Luna is my unofficial mascot and my boyfriend is featured in a lot of them (the collaborative things we do are labeled Trex because that's the combination of our names).

Really it's supposed to be positive, weird, clean fun.

Not necessarily, some do, but a lot will post about content they like (food, music, challenges like the seven second challenge, etc.).

Got a cheap drawing tablet and free drawing software and am trying to learn to use it. This is my first attempt.

Quality of the picture is awful, but any thoughts on the concept? Again, this is my first try with this thing ever, so the artistry will likely be greatly improved if I continue to pursue this direction.

Ended up taking a little break from costuming today and sketched this on my drawing pad. I'm going to go ahead and use it for now just bc I'm out of time, but in the future I think I'll replace the cartoons of us with cartoons of our cats. Thoughts?

I think that one is the best. It just looks cleaner and more polished, I'm not sure how to explain it. I like the others as well, but this one just looks better. I mean, the cat is your mascot, so it makes sense that you would use it over the others. It's also good to have your boyfriend's cat in there, since he's part of some of your videos.

Thanks! I'm using the cheapest tablet I could find Amazon Prime... haha. I think it's called Huion drawing tablet? For the program I'm using a free download called Madewithmischief.
