Logic about same race marriage

What kind of information do you need? Just tell me how you define race. That's all I want. What makes me white, and Lebron James black? If you aren't merely using physical cues, such as skin tone, what are you using? How do you demarcate race?

Its not that I am ignoring those links that you gave me, Gaijin. They simply do not take into context the key passages that I showed you from Ezra, which nails it perfectly

That link doesnt address the passages in Ezra, or the Hebrew. They go according to the English translation which is not the inspired text of the Bible.

This link doesnt prove anything either, for they do not even count the passages in Ezra in context as well. Even more so, they dont even address Adam and Eve, in whether case of how they might believe that they were the first humans or not.

There is no contradiction in my thought process. Those websites dont take into account all the evidence, from the statutes and laws of God to the testimony of Ezra as stated that they should be doing according to Isaiah 8:20.

I'm not even going to go into Ezra with you because I don't care anymore. Also, when you quoted the definition of oriental, you bolded the word Asian. And you said that it is a matter of perspective. But did you also see that you typed sometimes offensive right before that? So you are right, it is a matter of perspective. If you want to sound more offensive and racist than you already are, then continue to use that word.

Examples of white people would be Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman. Examples of Black people would be Oprah Winfrey, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Tucker. Examples of Oriental people would Jackiey Chan and Jet Li.

Of course, there would be variations, but these could be considered token representatives of the different races. Allbeit that there are variations within those same classifications.

Bear in mind that when I say "race", I am not talking about political nationality. You could have a white man from scottland and a Black man from England and they still be seperate races in the aspect of being "Black" and "white" even those those two countries are generally perceived to be "white".

What makes these "token representatives" representative? If race is not about nationality, what is it about? How someone looks? Lightness of skin? Shape of nose? Texture of hair?

What makes a white person white? Light skin? Then what makes an Asian person Asian instead of white? Many Asians naturally have very light skin (take, e.g., the powdered Geisha beauty ideal). But some Asians have darker skin. So what makes an asian? Slanty eyes and a broader nose?

Are you saying race is defined by how you look?

To respond to the year-old original post, it's a bad idea to ban any marriage based on racial factors.

Hi Kasey - how are you?

Why don't you help us and clarify who is truly pure and white, and what you would allow in terms of marriage for your children. It's not going to be as easy as the scriptures tell you, because there has been SOME race and culture mixing in this country.

So how do you determine who is racially white? I mean, really racially white?

Yeah, but the OP's example led to another discussion. And I think if Kasey's view is genuine, than it's worth exploring. I've never had a chance to pick the brain of someone who really believes this stuff before ...
