  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

You think CLEVELAND is going to give Romney votes? Kucinich's old stomping ground? A county that has gone for every Democrat in recent memory? You can't get much bluer than Cuyahoga. Congressional races in Cuyahoga are the Democratic primaries. It's 68-31 Obama right now, 49% reporting (according to CNN).

Your only hope is Hamilton, but it's 75% in.

No wonder cleveland is such a crappy city ;)
(and I'm only partially joking on that one ^_^)

Goodness people it's not the end of the world.

This is the 2004 election in redux, the party out of power put up someone who was unpopular even amongst his own party and was rightly trounced for it.

For the folks gloating, lets not forget the republicans who were saying that Kerry was going to sink the democratic party forever.

Nice thoughts but we can't even afford the interest on the money he's borrowed... and what about all the murdered babies and turning our back on Israel??? Those things are important to God. I don't think we should be messing with God's principles. :(

CBS called Colorado for Obama. Ohio doesn't even matter anymore.

No - if Romney wins Ohio, Virginia, and Florida, he is the next President.

Correct me if I'm wrong Wolseley, because it has been a while and I might be mixing you up with someone else, but didn't you frequently used to say that if Obama was elected again then armed resistance/insurrection/some kind of coup was inevitable or even desirable?

If this was once your belief, do you still think it's true?

Might have been me, I don't know. But it wouldn't surprise me.

Doesn't really matter now. We can expect more supression of the Catholic Church, more mainstreaming of sexual perversion, more unemployment, more "extensions of the debt ceiling", more "mandates" crammed down our throats, and God alone only knows what he's planning with the Russians.

I'm done for the night. I have an extremely black depression coming on, and I'm not sure of the best method of dealing with it.

God almighty.

What can they do? Any black or brown person who expresses any kind of conservative is vilified by their own.

Stacey Dash for instance.

Alfonzo Rachel is another...

It will need to be a fundamental change since so much of conservativism is defined by opposing anything in support of minorities and women. The GOP can either change or lose the next election and all elections to come for the presidency.

Not true.

Telling women not to kill babies isn't oppressing women...it's protecting babies.

Also, please explain how conservativism (wanting to keep government small and adhere to the constitution) has anything to do with opposing minorities?

Regardless Romney will win the popular vote, so Obama will not have a mandate to do anything he wants, especially with the GOP still in solid charge of Congress. If Obama wins, it means we have at least 2 and probably 4 more years of no progress "forward".

:p

I've lived in two of the three C's and Cleveland is not bad, I must say. It gets a bad rap.

I don't know, I don't feel safe when I go to certain parts of town (even with a CCW). Any thing between E40th and E220th is a danger zone lol
