Hey you welcome to the discussion.

The subject is of these scriptures : Jesus said, 'With God all things are possible' (Matthew 19:26). ... It is the power of God that makes what seems impossible possible. Nothing is impossible with God(Luke 1:37).

if this is a literal statement, why doesn’t God heal my paraplegic friend?

Why doesn’t God stop the world from its wickedness if he is capable of making all things possible?

Why wouldn’t he just let us be able to have our past animals to raise from the dead that we loved so dearly?

What does the Holy Spirit tell you about the scripture can we try to prayerfully understand what is being iterated ?

Please help, thank you for your comments, and hope everyone is ready for thanksgiving ! Almost time.

All things or anything is possible, etc, doesn't mean it is actually going to happen, or happen right away, or immediately come to pass right away, etc...

You need to look into all the conditions that are involved with certain things or other things either coming to pass and/or happening or not happening, or coming and/or not coming/happening, coming to pass, etc, "right away", etc...?

Cause the only true thing that is considered truly unconditional, or that can happen truly instantly or right away, etc, is salvation and salvation only and salvation alone, etc, not the miraculous or supernatural or almost anything else that might be "icing on the cake" coming to pass and/or happening, etc...

You need to look into that or those, and look very, very closely into that or those, if your wanting those kinds of things to be happening, etc, and see if you, or whomever, truly meets all the criteria truly, etc...

God Bless!

Jesus and the Apostles healed paralytics and even raised the dead. But in the Epistles, the gifts are no longer. Paul put his sick friends on medicine. Many claim to have the gifts today but have no verifiable proof of them, going back to the second century.

The statement is made in the context of a specific question: Who can be saved?

Your questions are legitimate, but the domain of inquiry within the context concerns ultimate salvation.

why doesn’t God heal my paraplegic friend?

Why doesn’t God stop the world from its wickedness if he is capable of making all things possible?

Why wouldn’t he just let us be able to have our past animals to raise from the dead that we loved so dearly?

What does the Holy Spirit tell you about the scripture can we try to prayerfully understand what is being iterated ?

These questions become moot once ultimate salvation is achieved, which again, is only possible for God.

God still shows His power today, He just doesn't usually show it, or show it off, where everybody can usually will, or most certainly will, notice or see it a lot of the time, etc...

And He has "certain reasons" for that today, only some of which having to do with the judgement that is coming, etc, and He also has His some of His "other reasons" also, etc...

God Bless!

We just hear wild claims with no proof.

It's not ever going to proven or shown to the entire world unless God wants it to be, etc...

But many of us have personally seen it in our own lives, or in the lives of others, etc, it's just not something anyone else would believe, and nor can we 100% absolutely definitively prove it beyond the shadow of anyone else's doubts either, but that's only because that's the way God wants it right now, etc...

And that is, in part, I believe, because there is a coming judgement for those who do not believe, etc...

God Bless!

To prove it in the way you want it proven wouldn't require any kind of faith, etc, so why then should God even try to show you, or even ever try to do it for you, etc...?

God Bless!

The miracles were evidence of a true apostle. There are no true apostles today.

That's why i don't take it literally.

By the similar logic, I probably can ask the following.

why God not help me complete an engineering Degree.
Why doesn't God give me load of cash if
Why doesn't God stop Covid and terrorism from spreading
Why doesn't God let me immigrate to America.

To be honest , I know it's nothing to do with God on most parts.
It sometimes ,some of my request, has to do with me personally.

It's like a token one the other side.
But why should God let dead pet alive from dead. That would be shocking. The world is not only densely overpopulated, (so many generation cohabit-ate) ,but also against order of nature, and natural law of biology

When a bear prey on its prey, an alligator biting a crying pig in shallow river at point of suffocating or perishing, sometimes, we have a pity for that poor little thing and can really fire whatever we have, such as an apple, spoon, stone, arrow, metal depending on whatever we have on that particular moment... But sometimes we just not see, or just choose not to intervene , since it's part of nature.. We can intervene a few, or we can intervene some, but most of time we are incapable of intervening it all..The world is vast. That's not only multitude of it but also against law of nature, although sometimes we really can be capable of making a difference for that one or two.

I guess it's possible that God might share some of similarity
That's my 2 cents

Other people, other followers of Christ who were not apostles did them too, etc...

And I'm not necessarily talking about a person doing or performing the miracles either, but only either God doing them, or showing his power to or around certain people, etc...

God Bless!

People today have prayed or asked God and seen certain things; some of His power shown and/or happening, etc...

But again, the kind of proof you would want or require is not something God right now desires, etc...

God Bless!

Where's ANY proof of an Apostle level miracle today?

The kind of proof you are seeking and/or looking for and/or requiring or desiring, is not currently something God is looking for and/or requiring or seeking or desiring, etc...

"So here are ten unusual recoveries after prayer. An experienced medical researcher read the case histories, talked to specialist doctors and finds that it really seems that God healed, miraculously". Ten healing miracles | Is there a God?
