  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A Jesus preached from the pulpit who is for guns, oppressing the poor, and wars. Is one example.

Just re-read the gospels and compare to modern sermons for snippets of examples.

I believe that the antichrist is going to be the next Mahdi. The false prophet is the Islamic version of Jesus, called "Isa" and he will encourage people to worship the Mahdi, and the beast is the religion of Islam (Though sometimes it could symbolically refer to the Mahdi).
Much of Islam's end times stuff is an exact mirror of our Christian eschatology. Our Antichrist is their saviour. While they believe that our Jesus is their evil man of lawlessness, etc, etc...

Rev 13:18 "Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666."
Check out what the text reads in Arabic. These symbols have been worn by ISIS and Hamas and also other Muslim jihadists. The symbols can be worn on the head or the arm.
