Hey, people, have u heard of who Lilith is? She was supposed to be the first Eve or something. Because she refused to submit to Adam, she was cursed and became a demon. I just want to know have you ever come across this person in the Bible or anywhere in Christianity. Is it biblically recognized in Christianity? What are your opinions about this? Please share and enlighten me.

According to a website, there is. I dunno whether I am allowed to give links. But, if you type 'lilith' in the yahoo search and click the first hit, you will see 'Appearances in the Bible'. It exists in Isaiah 34:14 of the NRSV. I am using NIV. In NIV, 'lilith' is replaced by 'night creatures'. I dunno why.
