We attract what we love. f we love violent movies, games and sports then we will attract violence in our lives. The Universe gives us what we LOVE.

There is a copy in the invisible world. Until there is something to replace it, the bad pattern will continue to reconstruct itself as time passes.

I think just just reflects the age of satan, which is what we are in now. The only way to escape the trap of this age, is becoming a born again child of God by faith in Jesus. But even then, the born again child of God must put away the things of this world to escape by following Jesus. But belief in Jesus must come first, then the believer is equipped to follow Jesus to escape the traps of this age.

People tend to prioritize what's important to them. Some prioritize God, Jesus, family, earning a living. Others prioritize things that the OP mentions. The movie and gaming industry will try tell you their products don't teach violent behavior. Why? Their products make them billions. But the more people watch violence in movies, even on TV shows, and the more they "play" violent video games... it HAS to be imbedded into their brains that it's okay. Not everyone, but many people. And to say that none of this causes violent behavior is a delusion.

"The Universe" doesn't give us anything. As christians, believing this kind of belief is just weird. Because God is the one who has everything in His hands, the whole universe. He created the whole universe and us, so He is the one charge of our lives after all.

But we are the ones making decisions for our lives, because God gave us that right. We can choose right, we can love God, help others and embrace goodness, or we can choose wrong, hate people, be violent or uncontrollable. We can also choose to repent today and allow Holy Spirit to renew our lives according to His will.

But obviously we can be influenced. But after all, it is psychology of our mind, it is how we work, not universe. What you consume with your eyes, how can you stop thinking about it?

Yes, a person with selfish character will attract together with another selfish person. Our character is our magnet that decides who we can connect with.

So, it is wise to pray and get changed by God so we can share with Him and join with His people who are all-loving and generously forgiving with Him.

But unforgiveness is in Satan's "spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience." (in Ephesians 2:2)

And so, in unforgiveness a person is in Satan's kingdom with his nasty and negative emotions and ways of reacting and weakness to give in and suffer in such cruel things.

But Jesus is "gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." (in Matthew 11:28-30)

In His gentle and humble love we are all-loving with Him in His immunity almighty against arguing and complaining so we can be kind and caring even with enemies >

"And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?" (1 Peter 3:13)

Ha! I just finished writing, on another thread, the curious fact that Christ refers to, how not only does what one thinks about affect what one says, but that what one says affects how one thinks.
