I'm not sure how long I've had these dreams -- as long as I can remember, I guess.
The dreams include lions and tigers (and bears, oh my!
). I'm continuously running and/or hiding from there. The setting changes; one was in an industrial plant, another was on a winding road that I used to live on, and so on. (Those are the two locations that stick out.) I don't know why I'm running from the lions and tigers (and.....nevermind
), but I have the feeling -- I believe, within the dream -- that while on one hand I'm not completely terrified by them, I do fear them catching or discovering me and being eaten and/or mauled.
A recent dream that may or may not be related featured wolves and coyotes instead of lions and tigers
D ) . It was at my parents' home; it is a small white house with a front door and two back doors -- one entering into the kitchen, one that enters into a landing where you can either go to the basement or into the main part of the house. My dad, my oldest daughter, and I are there -- don't know where my mom or my younger daughter were.
The first two parts may not be in the correct order -- I'm confused on that for some reason.
The first (?) part, I see my daughter standing at the back door that leads into the kitchen. She is standing between the main door, which is shut, and the storm door, which she has open only far enough to stand behind. From one view, I am looking at the door, seeing her through it and a wolf off to the side. The wolf is snarling at her, bearing his teeth, but she doesn't seem to be afraid. From a different view, I'm standing several yards, looking at the scene where I see the back of the wolf and barely can see my daughter around him. From this scene, she is feeding him candy. *NOTE: My daughter that was in the dream is 3-yr-old, but was only about 18 months in the dream, the current age of her younger sister. Also, she was wearing a little two-piece short outfit that has green polka dots, that I always thought she looked cute in.*
The second (?) part, I am inside the house, looking out the front window. There are coyotes running back and forth in front of and below the window, which is right next to the front door.
The next part, I am sure of the order:
I am standing inside the back door that enters the landing. I am looking through the glass at my dad, who is looking at me very sternly. Then, I am outside, several yards from the house, looking back toward it and my dad. He has a look on his face like he's about to make some sort of sarcastic or mean comment. Then, I am leading the wolves (who were absent from the dream since the scene with my daughter) around the side of the house by waving a stick or rawhide bone or something of the like in front of them. I don't appear to be afraid of them, but I feel that I need to protect my dad and my daughter from them.
