God's transcending peace be multiplied to you praisegirl2! Insight interspersed...

praisegirl2 said:
This is a dream that my daughter had several years ago that I can't forget, I don't know about her. First off to give you a little background. She was about 17 at the time and she does not live for the Lord. Here is what she told me.

She woke up crying out for me and I went to her room. She kept telling me that her hands hurt and around her head hurt. I said what do you mean she said "You know like Jesus. Like I have thorns around my head and nails in my hands." That is all she told me. She cried with pain for a short time then went back to sleep.

This would be a personal revelation for your daughter that Jesus loves her so much, He would have suffered and died on the Cross specifically just for her. As these Scriptures further attest...

Isaiah 53:3-6 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to His own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

2 Corinthians 5:14, 15, 17-21 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again...Therefore if any man be in Christ, He is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

About 3 yrs later I was in church crying out to the Lord for her salvation and I had a vision of her kneeling at the cross! I took that as a promise of her salvation. :amen:

Than about six months ago or so I was in church and I saw Jesus walk by very slowly. He had on like a prayer shawl and he went to the front of the church like to the alter. that was all I saw.

Would think this be an encouragement to you that Jesus is hearing your prayers for your daughter! :prayer: Even that He helping you bear the burden of your daughter coming to salvation in Christ. He IS slowly drawing her to Himself!

Psalm 37:3-7 Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him...

Psalm 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

2 Peter 3:8-9 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Jeremiah 29:11-14 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD...

Not a lot more to add to these end time dreams, though here be some nuggets for your pondering.

This would seem to be a Divine Call to pray for your Dad. Also, Scriptures do exhort that an unbelieving spouse is sanctified by the believing spouse. Speak Words of life over your Dad...such as TY JESUS he is already saved for eternity! About hot coals, read Isaiah 6.

A mighty fortress is our God Most High protecting you and your sis and bil!

1 Corinthians 15:51-53 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed–in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

A fitting dream and wisdom for the start of 2005...:D

Happy New Year to everyone!

This was a very short dream but I feel has meaning. I lost one of my front teeth and I recall the dentist telling me he would give me a wooden tooth to replace it. I recall it being very difficult and time consuming to get that wooden tooth in place. It was my responsibility to get it into place. At one point I had 4 front teeth in my hand in order to fit that wooden tooth in place. Any insight on this would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Michael

My Interpretation

Here's more insight for you Michael,

The wooden tooth may represent the Cross. The word 'front' makes me think of front and center, apply this to your dream...it is a challenge and time consuming to keep Christ front and center in one's heart! When Jesus isn't first in one's life and time with Him been laggy, the aftereffects will soon become as noticeable in character and deed, as a missing front tooth would be.

The 4 front teeth could symbolize the 4 Gospels that serve as time-honored eye-witness accounts of Christ's life, Crucifixion, Resurrection, and Ascension!

Teeth may also represent speech. And we are certainly all exhorted to not let the Word of God depart from our mouths...reason being because it is living and eternally powerful!

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

It is so weird you said that Humblebee. I didn't post it on here because I thought I was posting too much and then people would think what I see is just me. However, the other day for a split second I saw a pair of hands in a scooped position digging through rocks (normal looking but white) in a dumpster-like container. After digging for a minute, the hand uncovered gold, they may have been nuggets but it was hard to tell because the gold was so bright it was kind of blinding. I felt like God said, "Keep digging". How cool?

Encouragement for you Lovesherald

Your vision could be God exhorting that in trying times keep seeking Him :D and His wisdom, for understanding as to what He doing in your life. Certainly, seek and ye shall find Him anytime! (Jeremiah 29:11-14) Your vision could also be a picture of how God sees the poor and the homeless, more valuable than gold.

Psalm 19:9-11 The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

Proverbs 8:10-11 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

Proverbs 24:13-14 eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

1 Peter 1:6-8 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love.

Another nugget, loving Jesus=seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeking Jesus! :prayer:

The Lord spoke very clearly to me concerning New Year's Resolutions. It is my prayer that what He said will also help you.

This is what happened: For several months I had really been searching and asking the Lord questions like, "What am I missing?" "What is hindering me?" Then as I was reading the newspaper, I came across an article about how to make New Year's Resolutions. It said that keeping our list of resolutions to 1-3 things will help us from being overwhelmed. My weight has really been a preoccupation of mine, so I thought, 'I know, I will have just one goal and it will be to get into shape!'

My well-intended thought was disrupted by a still small voice that said, "No! Your one goal will be to spend more time with Me in the secret place."

It dawned on me that anything hindering us from what God has asked us to do cannot continue when exposed in the presence of the Lord! It must let go! As we cooperate with God, whatever it is that has kept us from His perfect plan for our lives will be revealed. But only as we submit to God in the secret place. This means to simply go alone to God the Father in the name of Jesus in prayer and praise; read His word and listen to His voice. (See John 10:27 or better yet, verses 1-30)

Thank God there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ! The law of sin and death condemns, but the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus sets us free. When we fail, He loves us where we are at and helps us from that point. He will never leave us. Thank God He will walk us through every challenge in life and not abandon us! (See Romans 8) Thank God His mercies are new every morning! (See Lam 3:21-26)

I believe the Lord would say to you and to me that whatever our New Year's Resolutions are, we must lay them down before the Father. He will break our chains in pieces, shatter the gates of bronze, and cut iron gates to set us each free! The God of heaven and earth anointed Jesus to proclaim liberty to the captives and open the prisons to those who are bound. Anything that is keeping us in bondage, any type of bondage, the Lord wants to set us free from it. (See Ps 107:10-16, 19-22, 43 and Is 61:1)

As Jesus taught us in Matt 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Seek FIRST the kingdom of God and all else will fall into place. God knows our needs. Let us seek His face first. Let us be still and know that He is God. After all, He knows how to part the sea! He surely knows what we need! You may be hearing in your spirit that it is time to fast and really seek His face. Seek His wisdom in this and follow His instructions. (See Ps 46:10; 2 Chron 7:14, Prov 8:17; Jer 29:11-14, Luke 11:10; John 10: 3-5)

May you thrive in the secret place of the most High God in 2005 and beyond. Arise! Shine! For your Light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

God bless you in your journey with Him!

Well, I had a dream a couple nights ago, I'm not sure what it means, so here I go.

It was Sunday, and I went to the Methodist church I used to go to, which I haven't gone to in a while. I went in and it was just me, my parents (who did not want to be there), and the pastor. After the service I went to the area where I used to be in Sunday School, but it was turned into a giftshop and I looked around and it didn't even have any sort of Bible or Christian things at all. It felt really weird to be in there again after so much time and seeing how much it changed. I felt uncomfortable in the gift shop area.

I don't know if this means anything or not I was just wondering if it might.

For your pondering Rob,

Believing your dream is God's affirmation to you that He has led you away from your former church. No Bible or Christian things in the giftshop could symbolize that the pastor has strayed from preaching the Word and from preaching Christ! Your parents are Divine watchman over you, so them not wanting to be there, would be further confirmation of God not wanting you to be there. Your uncomfortableness would symbolize that God is not present in this particular church.

Apostle390, for your pondering...

A van carries people and their heavy loads, so tends to symbolize intercession. Since your Mom is driving this could represent her bearing the spiritual burden of your family, instead of your Dad...him sitting in the passenger seat could show spiritual apathy, passiveness? Am assuming the van went over the mound of rocks meaning that your Mom's prayers are effective at bringing your family through tough times. However, would seem she weary symbolized by the van doing a nose dive. Implying that your Dad taking spiritual responsibility will ensure your family's 'safe landing'. :prayer:

I also just wanted to add that my dad is not a christian and my mom(and my family) is really struggling to stay strong because he won't accept Christ and live the life we live. He says he believes in God and "prays", but who in the world doesn't? Would this have anything to do with my dad's salvation and him taking spiritual authority over my family?

Surmising your dream is a confirmation that God sees how spiritually weary your Mom be and that your family long been wrestling with your Dad and his stubbornness. So would think this signifies God is about to relieve the pressure on your Mom and your family by bringing your Dad to Christ imminently, very soon to take his place as the spiritual head of your home! Been said that when the battle toughest, VICTORY IS ON THE WAY! Your dream an exhortation to keep standing in faith for your Dad, even believing that he is already saved! Here be Bible verses for your Mom and for the heartening of your family:

Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

1 Peter 3:1-2 Wives, in the same way be submissive (respectful) to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with [your Dad]...wanting...[him] to come to repentance.

A few years ago I was working in a job with a manager I struggled with a little because she was quite controlling.

One night I dreamt I was in a lift (elevator) and it suddenly started to go down faster and I realised with a sense of dread it was going down to hell. The elevator arrived opened, its doors, and my manager and some other people were standing in a crowd. It was dark and hard to see anything, but the people in the crowd were all struggling and striving. I ran out of the elevator, grabbed as many people as I could, including my manager, and took them back in the elevator for safety and out of hell.

I also dream a lot about my husband, and sometimes there are two versions of him, the real him, and another version, and in the dreams I am missing him and want to be with him. I have also had a dream when I cried for God, and my husband appeared and I felt wrong because I was glad to see my husband even though I had called for the Lord. When I saw my husband though, it was as though the Lord were there.

Hugggggggggggs Maharg! For your pondering, insight interspersed...

Your elevator dream would confirm that though you wrestled in your job, Jesus sent you there to those people, so He could shine His light upon them, bringing them knowledge of Him and eternity, through you! Your being among them was Jesus among them! :D You gathering even your controlling manager into the elevator demonstrates Christ's unconditional love!

Your dreams about your hubby would confirm your eagerness to see him come to know Christ and His salvation and be a new creation! The one about you crying out for God and your hubby showing up...a confirmation that God has heard your prayers for your hubby and that he a gift from God to you! Just as Jesus was God in flesh, it is Him loving you through your hubby! He recognizes your need for TLC!

I dreamed that I was at a banquet. The lights were dim and I saw two guys sit down at a table to watch a dinner theatre of sorts. This woman, lightly dressed to say the least came in and looked to be about to begin some sort of dance routine. She did the splits and when she rose, one of the guys said, "That's Katie." I was surprised to hear that name and looked over at the guy. It was me. She then started going from person to person like she was trying to sell them something.

Then, my wife was in front of me. She kissed me and hugged me. I didn't want to let her go and she didn't seem to want to go but a (woman I think) was standing behind her and pulled her away.

Then, I was on an abandoned airstrip surrounded by many trees. There were at least 10 other people there, including my wife. Two men started shouting at one another and one of them pulled out a gun. The men were some distance apart like they were going to have a duel. Then, the evil man threw another gun on the ground and it bounced. I thought to get away from the gun because it could go off and wound me. My wife ducked under my arm. The two men started shouting and exchanging shots at each other. The evil one was hit in the head but kept shooting.

Next, there was a great explosion. I tried to peer through the trees to see and saw a plume of smoke rising. I was about to announce that it was a plane crash when out of the sky a jet fighter fell from the sky and exploded. I turned with my wife to run in the other direction and heard several more large explosions. I turned around to look and saw a group of about seven or eight fighters in formation. They too dived toward the ground in an instant and exploded. I looked up and saw the tail sections of jumbo jets exploding and launched high in the sky. When they reached altitude, they broke apart and I saw huge parts of them (engines, etc) coming down on our position. I turned with my wife still under my arm and ran. I was running down a narrow path in the woods and it was paved. As we came to a clearing, I could see a road in front of us. I looked to the right before crossing and saw a jumbo jet about to land. I thought it might crash and sure enough, when the front wheel touch down, the wheel began to wobble back and forth. The aircraft began to tumble towards us and went into the grass right towards us. It exploded into flames as I ran in the opposite direction. I saw the fire flood the ground and rush towards us. I thought as I ran that the shockwave or the flames should have reached us by now but they didn't. After I got across the runway, I looked and another smaller plane was trying to land. I thought that they all had crashed so this one would likely do the same. It broke apart as it touched down but rested on the side of the runway and a giant man was standing next to it, I guess he was the rescue crew.

When we got to the end of the runway/road, there was a news van parked on the side of the road. We came to a very high chain link fence and there were three people from the van I guess who were in the grass at the edge of the treeline. One of them laughed to the others and they spotted us but didn't say anything. I looked through the fence and there was a highway down there. It was pretty calm on the highway.

I don't really know what to make of the dream. Very vivid though. I've had a few dreams actually come to pass some days after I dreamed them. I don't know. Maybe God is speaking to me again, maybe not. I guess the good thing is that my wife found comfort with me. I remember wondering while I was going through everything in the dream, "Why is she with me?"

I guess one interpretation could be that even with all of the potential danger. Even with the danger that I thought for sure would swallow us up, we were still together and still okay.
