There is no such ting as time. There is no past, no future, merely the present. Time is a manmade concept. There is no time travel, and never will be. There is no paradox about moving twins. It takes one year for the earth to orbit the sun, merely another measure of distance. It takes so many oscillations of a cesium atom to count a second. merely the distance the atom oscillates. Until you realize time is nothing but a measurement of distance, you will always be mystified by it.

Although not a big fan of his, he sets it out very well in his paper.

A revaluation of time and velocity by Miles Williams Mathis

Poor Justa, always tilting at windmills.

You need to do a lot better than that if you want to debunk Einstein. And if you have any gadgets that are based on his theories of relativity you better get rid of them.

Does your phone have GPS or do you have a Garmin or other such device? To get the accuracy of position on this Earth they need to apply corrections from Einsteins theories, both General and Special Relativity to correct for the effect of gravity and motion on the GPS satellites used for the calculations of your position.

A year is a measurement of time. It's the period of time it takes for the Earth to revolve around the Sun - Approx 365.25 days.
So? Dropping a hammer on your foot can be a measure of time.
A light year is a measurement of distance. It's the distance that light travels in one year - Approx 5,878,499,810,000 miles.
Nope. IN your head only. Unless time extends that many miles as is, this is not true at all!!!! Wow. What a thought.

Light speed is a measurement of velocity (distance divided by time). Exactly 1 light year per year.
Nope. Only near and on earth where we know how time progresses and works.
A light year is not a measurement of time - you can't convert a measurement of 3 miles into years.
It has to be a measure of time for it to translate into distance! It has to move so far in one year. A light year involves time.

We know the distance light travels in a minute. We know that time works the same way a light minute away.

Ha ha ha ha. Hilarious. What, you just waved it way!!?? Move over Father Time!

There is no past, no future, merely the present.

Now you are pushing it. I suppose for an ant in Chicago, there is no north pole!
Time is a manmade concept.
Gee, funny God used it right from day 1!!!!!

There is no time travel, and never will be.

Light travels so far in a year. There seems to be travel with time. By the way, what qualifies you to start declaring there is no past future or time etc? You seem a bit above your pay grade.
There is no paradox about moving twins. It takes one year for the earth to orbit the sun, merely another measure of distance.

Not sure that says much..'the earth is so far from the sun'. Duh.. It does take what is it, 8 plus minutes for light to reach earth from the sun!

It takes so many oscillations of a cesium atom to count a second.

That depends where the atomic clock is. When they stuck it on a plane, it took a different time than one on earth! At least, time itself was different, not sure they measured the rates:)
merely the distance the atom oscillates. Until you realize time is nothing but a measurement of distance, you will always be mystified by it.

You offer an in box opinion. The universe is bigger than that. Eternity also. Creation did involve time, and the stars which were created also were created at a different time! No one can say they are on the earth clock.

In a lab? Irrelevant! In our solar system? Irrelevant! You never been a light year from earth. Even the Voyager are only a part of a light day away, if I recall correctly!!!! No you sure do not know.

Baby steps I guess. Good work. However you have another problem. Time is different as little a several centimeters above!!! So by the time light gets a minute away, time may be different!

It's awesome when two completely self-deluded fundamentalists start trash-talking each other, and they're both completely wrong.

Really? Someone arguing the purpose of a unit of measure. You could maybe say that the light year is not an accurate measure, but it's intended to measure the distance that light travels in an earth year. Why are people arguing over such a simple and well defined concept? Even if you think time is nonexistent, it doesn't change the purpose of the unit of measurement.

Not necessarily.

Sadly it is his choice. He could learn if he wants to, but he is too busy worshiping his own personal false idol. He only worships one particular false idol, his idol is the King James Bible.

Even where its translation is shown to be errant he does not accept the more correct translation. For example recent finds show that Goliath was not 9'9" as is translated in the KJV, but rather 6'9". Still a giant of a man in those days. And actually possible. A 9'9" man would be a bed ridden invalid, especially in those days. He would not have been an impressive warrior at all.

He prefers the myth to the possibly real story.

Including a Nephilim?

Or are you going to tell me Goliath wasn't a Nephilim?

A 9'9" human being might be bedridden; but a 9'9" Nephilim would probably be considered a midget.
