Sure, there are some scientists who are that way, but many who are not (and are even devout Christians) but their science is the same.

The composition is more than just the presence of an element, the rough proportions matter too. Soil contains lots of minerals, much more so than organic matter. Humans don't contain much of the elements that make up minerals.

Moses wrote nothing about elements in humans or soil, because *no one* wrote about those things in ancient times. (There are no known writings of Moses anyway.)

Brains are made of matter and function through the basic, well known, laws of physics.

But it isn't that clear when you have borderline cases.

Ring species demonstrate this:
Species 1 can breed with Species 2 who can breed with Species 3 who can breed with Species 4 who can't breed with Species 1.

This means that 1 and 4 both can and can't be defined as the "same kind".

We also have genetic evidence of separate species mixing after separating.

Personally I find the image of the skulls of extinct varieties of ape an excellent demonstration that it's impossible to demonstrate the difference between an "ape" and a "man".

No-one has a definitive clue or idea and it could be anything. It could have been God. It could have been a spark of lightning in some slime. It could have been aliens, or a meteor from space.

That's why abiogenesis is a hypothesis, not a theory.
