I mean if you can't even mount a sucessful campaign against Bush, you know you've failed in some fundimental, sick, stupid way.
The flights were mostly commercial airliners converted for cargo use in order to be inconspicuous. The convoys however were indeed picked up by satellite.Doctrine1st said:56 flights and ground convoys of trucks, should be pretty darn easy to support.
That's why I said earlier that it would have been a great opportunity for Ted to Kennedy to step up to the podium and apologize to the King family for what the Kennedy family did to them. That would have been classBillnew said:Isn't it funny, Carter mentions the Kings being wiretapped, while having the brother of the wire tapper being an honored guest.
I look forward for the unfolding of these accounts with high hopes my government didn't lie to me, or just another debunked claim put to bed.MachZer0 said:The flights were mostly commercial airliners converted for cargo use in order to be inconspicuous. This is a political forum and discussion of the service in a nonpolitical manner would belong in a different forumreverend B said:while we villify the liberals for politicizing the funeral, doesn't this thread do the same thing? where is the commentary on the service as a whole and the woman who made it necessary? this whole thread is the pot calling the kettle black.
but this time, we started it. she deserves better from us, and she deserves better from all of us, too. God bless you, coretta. a life well lived.

This is what one considers classy.
I believe a funeral should be the lifting up of the honored person. To put aside petty differences. And come together in memory of the person we lost.
As I see the otherside, Beliveves they need to bring politics into everything, to highlight differences, and keep the split of America.
They can't get more people to believe thier side unless they continuously chant the current "outrage" of the day.
Isn't it funny, Carter mentions the Kings being wiretapped, while having the brother of the wire tapper being an honored guest.
interesting side note: the wire tappers and wiretappee were all assassinated

The two are mutually exclusive. If he had not been wiretapped, he still would hve been phiandering. More importantly, it is the Democrats who raised the issue of the suffering caused by those wiretaps. The brother of the person who authorized them was right there and could have taken the opportunity to apologize.mhatten said:My irony meter is reading red hot. mhatten said:Hmmm, should the government apologize for slavery?
MachZer0 said:Not in my opinion, but I wasn't talking about the government apologizing to the King's. I was talking about a family to family apology.
