Oh yes, everybody is different and therefore different things and different people minister to each one. And there are times we need this or we need that. My question was in earnest so I appreciate your answer.

As for psalms, well, that can be an interesting topic. So very many of them I can heartily pray, and then there are some I cannot keeping in mind that I am on this side of the cross living under a new covenant. I certainly am not praying for God to smash my enemies and leave their children fatherless. I am actively praying FOR my enemies. That's just one example.

Can definately understand where you're coming from and many thanks for asking your question.

Real. Some of them, edgy as they are, I do see Christ often echoing as well as other apostles....but on this side of the cross, there's a different level of revelation. I do pray against the enemies of God attacking the church and pray for justice when it comes to his saints as the psalmists did---but as our true warfare is spiritual against the Kingdom of Darkness, wishing harm on other people physically I can't do.
