I was searching for jobs, and I came across this one well known company that was hiring straight-out-of-college students as General Manager trainees.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Are they looking to hire them as guinea pigs?

But I wonder, we are made in the image of Him, He put a part of himself into us. Maybe we as pet owners put a piece of us in them, though love which is why after owning a pet, you notice "personality" in your animal.

My friend graduated high school when she was 24, but it was because her family traveled extensively. On the other hand, I went to college early but got sidetracked and disillusioned by the industry that I was going into. Plus, I had a lot of pressure from my family...

I was really worried about future jobs and my future. For some reason, I kept picturing myself as this underpaid, overworked staff in an unknown company. But I think that kind of thinking's not from God, and it really doesn't matter to me now if I don't get my name out there or whatever.

I guess living to concentrate on God is more important. Jobs will be there.

And Ethie, you're not useless. I envy that you went to college early. I'm a late starter and I don't have much experience in any fields. I'm going to have to make up for it.

Because I found something worthy of sharing, and I know there is still a lot of bias out there with regards to it. I know this because despite the internet, I come across these opinions fairly regularly in my life outside the computer, when chatting to people 1-1.
