  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Fans can say what they want about the man being a trailblazer... whatever. The man isn't funny, but that is why we all have our own separate opinions.

Even IF he is a trailblazer for radio.... okay? and that has given us such gems as.....? MOST of the hosts on radio and TV sell mindless drivel... IF that is what he trail blazed.

So what, how is how many oranges a stripper can fit in her mouth humorous or trailblazing? The guy is the radio version of Jerry Springer, which is fine if you like that stuff.... but don't try and sell him as more than what he is.

I find him funny, especially for a program that last 4-6 hours a day. The sheer amount of funny content astounds me. I can listen to him for hours, and cry up in tears because I'm laughing so much. He's known for his stripper stuff, but the show contains so much more. The other people on his show are golden too, especially the wack packers.

Howard Stern was doing his own thing long before Jerry Springer.

It just means I'll have to check the new posts on two threads instead of one D:. There's really no need for the what's on your mind thread really, if everyone just used the IJWTS thread, but people have kind of left that thread for the mind thread at late. It seems to be either one or the other, people rarely post in both of them.

lol yeah the Japanese tea shop I went to in MD they were trying to sell me special pots n stuff for the tea also. Saying the pots give of a fragrance and add to the taste etc.

I would like to find a nice tea shop where I live. But considering I live in Hicksville nowhere I doubt Japanese and Chinese tea shops have much of a market here lol.

I honestly haven't tried those fancy stuff. Only because they are too expensive. However, I play around with tea and see how long I can steep and what flavors I enjoy.

I recommend buying stuff from online. Numi tea would be a great start, thougt its on the pricy side.
Actually, I looked at amazon and its not that bad. At whole foods one pack is 10 dollars, on amazon 3 packs are around 13-15.

Teavana and Numi are great teas to gift. Numi has the flower ones as well that are lovely. On groupon they had a special. I didn't get it because I'm not a big fan of the flowers even if its really pretty.

For Teavana I recommend English Breakfast. Its the best!

Hi

This question is mainly to the guys.

1.Do you feel sympathy towards the lesser privileged girls you meet ?

2. Have you ever felt that the sympathy might develope into love ?

3. Would you marry a girl to rescue her out of the bad situation she is in and do everything you can make her happy for the rest of her life ?

1. Yes I do.
2. I thought is has several times and it has always ended badly.
3. I've almost married two to get them out and I was constantly heart broken and never happy. She was never happy either so I don't know. :destroyed:

I was searching for jobs, and I came across this one well known company that was hiring straight-out-of-college students as General Manager trainees.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Are they looking to hire them as guinea pigs?

If being a guinea pig means making more money, then sign me up!

It looks like the company's hiring them to see which one would work out as their future GM. After the completion of the program, which takes five years, the employers place the trainees in other well-positioned parts of the company.

If this isn't a scam, I should've graduated a long time ago and signed up. But then again, I didn't know what I wanted to do back then. And who knows if I would've been able to run into this? I missed my opportunity, but I really hope that they'll have something like this again in the future.
