It's all too coincidental that for over 100 years the message has been that a Sunday law would be instituted.

And now we see pastor after pastor, and author after author, and pope after pope declaring that we need a day of rest - Sunday.

Well here goes the SDA bubble burster. Where do all you folks live???? Because the Sunday law here nationally in the USA allows you buy alcohol, move, shop and any other activities except the banks being open and business as usual. I know you all think that I do not believe that Sabbath is going to become an issue, but not just the Sabbath all the Commands of Elohim. And folks it starts with the household of faith first. Also, I'm serious where have the Sabbath come up in the Media, I want to know.

My church is right next to the local high school, and some of use the parking lot on Sunday mornings. Last Sunday the parking lot was full because of a sports tournament of some kind at the school. That's certainly not the first time. How serious can our society be about resting on Sundays when they schedule school events on Sunday mornings?

We aren't talking about the way things are but how they will be... you must recognize that things never remain static but are constantly shifting and evolving, sometimes by major worldwide events.

Would you ever have imagined that you would be physically groped and detained and had your mundane articles banned at an airport before 9/11? There would have been laughter a plenty for someone who would have suggested that... after all that could never happen in the land of the free and the home of the brave, right?

I thought this thread was about how signs are now increasing that the Sunday law is coming, hence my observations.

In Georgia they keep voting to toss out the local Sunday laws and allow the sale of whatever they like on Sundays. I think almost all states have rolled back support for their Sunday laws at the state level.

IN Rev 13 you do not find that we just "so happen" to end up with Sunday laws. Rather in Rev 13 it is "signs and wonders" that "direct mankind" to setup the image to the beast and then the mark of the beast.

The idea that you can "predict when a sign and wonder is about to happen" is pretty silly.

But when it does happen -- it is an overnight game changer. Like 9/11.

I don't think that anyone was trying to put you in trouble. The first responses in the OP aren't so much saying that the trend is towards the Sunday law, but that the issue is becoming prevalent.

I am well aware of the fact that Christians are being persecuted around the globe, especially in other Countries. That has no bearing however on what we teach in regards to the end of time. Those souls are precious to Christ, but that doesn't detract from the fact that the time is coming when the clear line between God's day and Satan's will be drawn.

The line is drawn. However, many of God's people are confused as to what side is the right side, thus the call in Rev 18:4 where the people of God are told to come out of Babylon.
