Dear one,
This is what we have heard:
For you remember, brothers, our labor and toil: we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, while we proclaimed to you the gospel of God. -1 Thessalonians 2:9
You are witnesses, and God also, how holy and righteous and blameless was our conduct toward you believers. -1 Thessalonians 2:10
For you know how, like a father with his children, -1 Thessalonians 2:11
we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory. -1 Thessalonians 2:12
And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers. -1 Thessalonians 2:13
Dear one,
Let us be strengthen in our faith in our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us speak and believe in our hearts, that is, the righteousness of our faith, that we declare:
Thank you, Abba,
that we remember as apostles’ brothers, the apostles’ labor and toil, that they worked night and day, that they might not be a burden to any of us, while they proclaimed to us the gospel of God.
For we are witnesses, and God also, how holy and righteous and blameless was apostles’ conduct toward us believers.
For we know how, like a father with his children,
apostles exhorted each one of us and encouraged us and charged us to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls us into His own kingdom and glory.
And we also thank God for what apostles have thanked constantly for this, that when we received the word of God, which we heard from apostles, we accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in us believers.
Amen.
