For my husband- he isnt feeling well and he really is over worked. I ask God for the grace that he will be strong enough to get through the weekend.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Also, I would like to pray for all of our recovering (from alcohol, drugs, sexual addiction, overeating, etc.) brothers and sisters, that they may find peace and protection in surrendering their heart to Christ Jesus. I also pray for the spouses, parents, siblings and friends of our recovering brothers and sisters, that God may move them past the pain and resentment and "Let Go and Let God."

For my husband, who is in Malaysia until Friday -- he is lonely and tired. Also, please pray for God's provision for our family. Husband must change jobs within the next two months. Please pray for God's perfect will in choosing a new job and for our family to accept the change with joy and contentment.
