Let me introduce myself

Hello everyone. I am new to ChristianForums and don't really know how things work around here. Please, someone, explain about the reps and blessings.

A little about myself, well, my statement of faith if you will.

1. I believe in Yehweh, the one true and living God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, our Father, the Almighty.
2. I believe in Yeshua, (Jesus) the only begotten Son by whom was everything made that was made, our Lord and Savior. Born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pilot, crucified, dead and buried, decended into Hell, rose again (praise be to God), ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of Yehweh, our God and Father.
3. I believe in the Holy Spirit of God, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who binds us together as brothers in Christ, who leads us, as we submit to Him, into all truth, who impowers us to do the works that the Father has ordained for us to do before the foundation of the Universe.
4. I believe the Scriptures are the WORD OF GOD, the final authority on all matters of faith, inerrant.
5. I believe in one true Church, the body of our Lord, united in one Spirit.

If I had to describe myself based on the denominational names that society and the church uses to divide ourselves from one another, then I would have to say that I am a Messianic Seventh-Day Southern Baptist. Such I denomination does not exist, but I guess that title would best fit with my beliefs.

If you disagree with me, just show it to me in the Bible. Then, I will agree with you.

As I have ventured through this life, most of the people I have met seem to consider themselves of GREAT importance. Many seem to think that this world, and the universe revolve around them.

Well, I have sojourned here for several years. I have seen great mountains. I have seen the oceans. I have gazed at the stars and realized that they are millions, billions, trillions of miles away. I have considerd the vastness of the universe. By comparison, I am nothing. Less than a grain of sand. An insignificant speck of dust in the grand scheme of things.

How can I imagine myself to be of any real importance? Can my life have any real effect on this awesome universe? The truth is NO.

However, the one true and living God, Yehweh, the Creator of this wonder universe, holds it all in the palm of His hands. Oh how awesome is the God we who truly believe serve. His glory is more beautiful than 10 million Suns. His power is greater than a billion atom bombs. He is perfect in every way.

I am not worthy to even think of Him. He is far beyond my imagining. Compared to His perfection, my very best is useless trash. There is nothing good in me. Anything anyone perceives as good in me, in reality, is just a tiny glint of the goodness of God shining through me.

Ah yes, the old "scripture alone" camp - and then completely ignore the Church who canonized it. Read Church history, and then see how the first Christians believed. They did not believe the way some modern churches do, and that is fact.
