AFAIK, refraining from eating meat on Fridays during Lent is a Catholic practice only. Protestants aren't required to follow it.

1) Is the LCMS supposed to refrain from eating meat on Fridays?

2) Are members of the LCMS supposed to give up something for Lent or do something extra for Lent Like the Catholics do?

1. No, but I usually follow the Catholic fast during Lent.

2. We aren’t, but I usually try to.

I've been attending a Lutheran Church but as a Prot I usually take part in Lent by giving up meat on Wednesday and Friday, avoid alcohol, attending every church service possible (Bible study, worship, etc).

I still have coffee and chocolate though

Do you normally eat meat every day of the week?

This is a good practice, whether or not you are Roman Catholic.

There is no rule against fasting in Lutheranism, and it is dignified to do so in some situations, such as before Holy Communion, if one is able.

I also don't drink alcohol outside of the sacrament of Holy Communion. It's a case of looking out for yourself and your neighbor, whether you choose to drink or not. Abstinence from alcohol is associated with some forms of Lutheranism, such as some Scandinavian strains. Laestadianism in particular, which is common among the Suomi people.
