There is a really disturbing movie being released soon. I'm sure you've heard of Legion. What are your thoughts on this on a spiritual level, and why are people so obsessed with the end of the world these days? I'm not going to see it, but I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were.

I didn't know it had anything to do with The Da Vinci Code. I might watch it at home. It's not something I would pay to see at the theater. I really don't know much about it.

Isn't it funny how Hollywood always makes subjects like demons and the supernatural look so different from the truth ? Their versions are so far from reality it's hard to take it serious. Still, something that dark I'd avoid.

That's true. Even the movies that are based on a true story sometimes has fabrication in it.

But the enemy is so subtle and smooth. Why tell people truth (which he can't do anyway) when he can lure them in with lies in 3D special effects.
Is there anywhere in the book or movies that preface with a disclaimer that this is only fiction? Probably not.

Wow, that's a pretty stupid sounding summary. Stupid on the part of the writers, I might add. That is seriously irritating. G-dless people, writing about G-d and what He's likely to, and especially tossing in the towel on the whole lot of humanity just for the sheer sake of entertainment. I have seen the previews on tv, commericals and all, but I really had no clue what it was about. *eye roll . . .

Look at all the Biblical documentaries that the Public Broadcasting networks produce. They are almost laughable if it wasn't so pathetic. They are full of misinformation.

No, it has nothing to do with the Divinci Code. You're thinking of the movie Angels and Demons. The movie Legion is simply a horror movie with no relation to The Divinci Code at all.

Angels and Demons was the follow up with Tom Hanks to the Divinci Code, where the Vatican hires him to figure out the Illuminati's attack on the Church.

Legion is about a fallen angel who fights off thousands of angels who have "gone bad" to destroy humanity. He fights to save a baby in a womb, the hope of humanity. It is a purely fictional horror movie and unrelated to the Divinci Code.

As Simchat said, there is no connection The Davinci Code other than Paul Bettany. He's the psycho killer in the Davinci Code.
