No one should vote for a Democrat because they are pro-choice, just as no one should vote for a Republican because he is anti-democracy, destructive to the future of our planet, callously indifferent to the plight of immigrants and even political refugees like the Haitians, callously indifferent to the poor, the uninsured, the homeless, etc., etc.

I wish that we could actually say that the right candidate is actually pro life but unfortunately he’s not. Trump has already stated several times that he’s not going to issue a federal ban against abortion.

We have seen the gradual emergence of the secular State and with it secular ideology such as Humanism and its various manifestations like Identity politics, Trans and Woke ideology.

Up until around the turn of the century maybe a little earlier the public square has rejected God specifically. Made it a point to dismiss God and Christianity even being antagonistic towards Christian worldviews.

Before that was Enlightenment and the cultural revolutions of the 60's which began the undermining of God as a truth. In fact Postmodernism rejected any single truth and the Canon principles of the west that nations were built on.

But the full expression of secular ideology has really come out post 2000 and especially in the last 10 years that it has become an alternative worldview that challenges and replaces the Christian worldview.

That is fundementally what this battle is about, a materialist and anti Christian God verses the Christian God. So secular ideology comes from a different metaphysical belief about what is nature and reality. One that makes humans their own gods being the only true arbitors of truth and reality. Being the opposite of Gods truth, fake truths dressed up in humanistic ideas and beliefs.

Because there is no God or truth there is no sin. Everything is relative and an expression of humanity. As a result there is no order to nature. Its a random and blind process for which humans can manipulate in their favor. This forms the basis of Postmodern Socal Constructionism for which many academics refer to ie sex and gender are social constructions. Therefore humans can reconstruct nature, the sexes and gender.

Included in the ideology is the copycat versions of Gods truths. The worlds idea of peace and equality is different to Gods. As we have seen in how secular ideology has caused conflict and division its a false peace and equality. But it fools a lot of people because its all about identity, emotion, and being Woke which appears to have nobel causes.

But like any false prophet it looks good on the outside but is full of corruption and hate on the inside which is what we are now experiencing with internal and external conflicts and problems that are undermining nations and peoples hopes.

This election is not about being "leftist" or "rightist".

The more important issue is that Trump has shown open disregard
for the fair rule of law in America.

And the Democratic candidate, and a large number of the law abiding
and conservative Republicans, are supporting the rule of law in
America.

This is important for Christians in America, because we first of all,

I cannot in conscience select those truckloads of anti-life baggage which, in 2024, endanger our democracy and exacerbate climactic famines and starvation, African genocide over scarce resources, and much more.

Your statement might be said by either side of the fence. Where do you stand? Be specific about your point. What exactly do you mean to say about the specific issues at hand? Are you objecting to the OP or supporting it? Who are you saying are "Christians" (in quotes) - I presume you mean false Christians who are play-acting at being Christians or who claim to be Christian but are hypocrites. In order for someone to repent and come back to Jesus, they must belong to Jesus in the first place.
