Actually, Honor "suggested" that I align myself with one Adventist group or another, in here. I was aksing why, and it does not have to be answered by mods, if a regular member, like yourself, knows the answer. :)

However, youa re right, this is not on topic, so inf someone wishes to respond in PM, that is acceptable.

Ok folks, back to the regularaly scheduled prgramming.:)

Princessdi, it sounds to me like this is a direct question to the mods, please, do not take it up in here. Please pm the mods for specific guidance and clarification on your question. Thank You.

Does anyone in here know of someone who actually believes in the secret rapture? i do.

In saying "I do" to what are you referring? That you believe in the secret rapture or that you know people that believe in the secret rapture?

If the former, which Fundamental Belief teaches a secret rapture?

Mr. J

I don't think Happywiththelord specified that it had to be Fundamental Belief, rather simply do we know anyone who has this belief. And I do know of a few that do; one family member who is non-denominational and two more who are Pentecostal. I don't know if this belief is considered a "fundamental" belief by those churches however.

In Christ,

You make a good point; I've re-phrased the question.

Its not an assumption. The same Internet I have here at my house is the same Internet those in the British Isles have. They, just like me, have the ability to find out about such things if they are so interested. If they aren't interested then that is their fault/problem, not mine. I like seminars, especially those concerning biblical topics, as such I look for them on the Internet - everyone has this same ablilty. I guess that maybe some may only see the Internet as a way of chatting with friends - but it is so much more.

As I stated earlier, I didn't find out about that seminar via local promotions or from my church - I found it on the Internet first. There is no valid reason in the world why those who have such access to information can miss something like this unless they simply weren't looking.

Then you have made another assumption that the Seventh Day ADventist members of the British isles have access to the internet. Have you asked all 20,000 of us then?

Yes, I know many who believe it the secret rapture, and they are many millions more since the release of these books and movies(which is why I asked where is our anser to them). I am almost sure if you just visit the other denoms forums here you will find out more about it. If I am not mistaken, I believe you can ask about the belief.

There is not need to. YOU have access, obviously, so why didn't you tell anyone?

I don't know if it was a "fundamental" belief of the baptist church I was raised up in, but I do know that it was taught...the secret rapture I mean.

I don't really know if it is a "fundamental" belief of any denomination, but I know that more than one teach it.

I only found out this past December/January that it was a false teaching, and I'm soon to be 51 years old.

palehorse was correct. i was asking if anyone knew of someone in there life that believed in the secret rapture. i have people in my family that do. it is always interesting to discuss the topic with them. they are so blown away with the scripture we give them to prove it is false. they see it! but still, they refuse to accept it. maybe some day they will, we need to keep showing them the truth and maybe some day there "lightbulb" will go off, and they will actually get it! these people, there religions are baptist and catholic. just for your knowledge, not a big deal!!

As one grows in his/her relationship with Christ Jesus, He will give them the knowledge and open up their understanding. God may use us to plant the seed but He gives the increase in His time, not ours. :) It is the Holy Spirits job to bring us into ALL truth and He will.
