Nathan looked around at the others in the room. Some were crying, some were praying, some were looking just as confused as himself. He felt an urge to fold his hands, but didn't. Come on, you're not so easily influenced, Nate, he thought and bit his lip. This is something you can't just jump into.

Auna just sat there for a while, feeling odd. Then she turned over to Jonathan. "Do you know what? I think you were right. I know this really sound weird, but we need this. If God's Son the only way outta this, we need him. I think I'll pray... will you join me? I can't go though this alone."

 

[squigui]

"Sure." Nathan said and nodded slowly. "This is it." His heart skipped a beat, and he looked around for the voice. No one even seemed to look at him. Nathan shivered and bit his lip.

Kat got up and walked out of the church. She already knew the truth, she figured a person who needed to know could have her seat. Kat grabbed her bike and rode down the street to her house and sat on the front steps, looking around at the madness erupting around her. Someone had turned on a radio and some man was giving a speech about how he would help to make the world a better place. The people were totally buying into the entire trick. Kat knew, from what her parents had told her before the Rapture, that it was the anti-Christ. The people on her street joined the crowd running into the city to listen to the man and see him. Soon the neighborhood was deserted, except for Kat on her front step.

((are we gonna call the Anti-Christ Nicolae Carpaithia like in the series or what))

Kadyn also gave up her seat and went back to her house. She wanted to go home one more time, and on the way she passed Kat sitting on her front step. "Hey Kat. You ok?" Kadyn asked as she rode up the front walk.

Kat jerked her head up and focused her eyes on Kadyn. She nodded, choking down the lump in her throat. "Yeah, I'll be fine" her voice was scratchy. Kat nodded, got up, motioned to Kadyn that she could come in, and pushed the door open. The first thing she saw was her parents' anniversary vase lying in a broken mess on the floor in the foyer. Kat cried, ran inside and fell to her knees, a picture of her parents on their wedding day was lying face up and the glass cracked on the floor. She picked it up gingerly and ran her finger over it, tears welling up in her eyes.

Kat stood up and looked around at her house. It was turned upside down, broken toys and other objects lay in shattered pieces all over. Clothes were pulled from the drawers, food from the shelves. Kat heard the floorboards creak behind her, and turned around. Two robbers were standing in-between her and the front door. They held papers. Very important papers. Papers from the government, and from her father's desk in his study. She saw that the two young men were armed and dangerous. Her heart skipped a beat.

It felt good sitting here next to Nathan and pray. She felt as though she was being filled up by something. something very good. This is it, this is it! Whoa, I'm a christian now! Her spirit soared, and when they had finnished praying, she just couldn't stop smiling. "Nathan, we're one now, sort of. This whole room, we're one! We belong together! Oh, Nathan, I'm so exited!" She gave him a huge hug while her tears started streaming down.

Nathan didn't meet Auna's eyes. All of him wanted to be a christian, but there was something in the back of his mind that resisted. I have all the time in the world. This is a huge decition, I'd like to take it when I'm in a better condition than this. I just lost my sister, and I'm in a church... I can't be thinking straight.

Kadyn hadn't followed Kat right away, but when she did, she saw the two thieves, and froze in the doorway. I've got to do something. But what? What can I do to help stop two thieves?

Charlie

She woke up with a start, forgetting where she was. People were leaving the building. She tried to stand up, using all of her strength and she made her way to a group of people her age talking about praying and some God person.

As she approached them she grew very weak and collapsed behind them.

Scott saw the girl fall he ran over to her to check on her he laid her on her back and checked to make sure she was breathing he gently shook her trying to wake her up

Auna could feel Nathan not being very energic. He's just confused. It's ok, i'll let him handle this his way. She looked around and saw Scott from her psychology class. What is HE doing here? "I'm going over there, I know someone there I just have to talk to," she told Nathan. "Are you coming?"

The girl woke up and he asked "are you alright?"

Charlie

Looked up at the guy, and out of habit covered her head, afraid he was going to hit her. She stayed silent not saying a word. She could feel her wrist was broken and the fresh bruises from her brother were starting to cover the old ones.

"hey are you ok? I'm not going to hurt you. I'm a nurses aid well thats my day job anyway." Scott asked the girl that obviously looked scared

Charlie

She slowly uncovered her head, tears were running down her cheeks as she carefully looked up at the guy. she held out her broken wrist, exposing the years of bruises that scarred her arms.

 

[boxers]

Scott looked at the wrist examining it. after about two minutes he took off his under shirt and riped it "I need a couple of sturdy pieces of wood. you go get it." he pointed to some one in the crowd the guy came back and and haded him two pieces of wood he splinted her wrist "you probably won't be able to get into a hospital for a while but if you come back to the church often enough I'll check on it." he looked at the bruises on her arms "were did you get those that looks like abuse are you alright?" he asked concerned

She looked down at the ground not wanting him to see the tears in her eyes. She shook her head no. She didn't understand why he was being so nice, why none of these people were trying to hurt her for being a murder. She was still scared, any minute her brother could come get here, hurt her some more. She didn't want anyone to know, she had to stay silent, they couldn't know who she is or what she had done.

Scott saw that the girl was obviously scared "hey can I tell you about a friend of mine I'm sure he'd like to meet you." he asked hopefully
