Scott woke up on the floor he had fallen asleep sometime during the night and he woke up to see the girls gigling "whats going on" he asked confused

Jamie glanced around the club. Less people than usual were here. She didn't care, she just started dancing to the music.

Nathan slammed the door shut, but stopped dead on the front porch. The sight was unbelieveable. Several of the houses in their neighborhood was on fire, cars had kept driving without drivers and had crashed into trees, houses and other cars. Why? he thought, and bit his lip. Why now? He began walking down the block, pretending not to notice the clothes lying around. I need to get to someone who knows what's happening, he couldn't think of any other place than the church. Riley's church...

But then the music stopped and that's when she noticed the clothes lying around. Only one thing came to her mind. It was something her parents told her a while ago. The Rapture might happen soon, so you better be ready. You need to accept Christ into your heart. She always thought that was just a bunch of bologna. Now she thought differently. She rushed back to her house to see if it was true. She didn't even notice the houses on fire or the car crashes.

Kat ran through the city, seeing the carwrecks and the fires and the faces of the terrified people around her. She knew what was going on, a little while ago she had entered a church. It had been empty, but she had found a Bible and read it. She looked up near the pulpit to the statue of Jesus Christ. Kat accepted Him into her heart, she meant it in every way possible. She had seen the error of her ways, and invited Jesus into her heart to stay.

Kat began to slow down as she reached a neighborhood with empty cars everywhere, cats and dogs running wild, people screaming and crying and running away. Kat finally found her house, the door was wide open. She ran throughout the house screaming the names of her family. "Mom? Dad? Josh? Morgan?" her voice grew more desperate. "MOM! Dad! Josh.... Morgan...." her voice broke and she collapsed to the floor in a fit of tears, clinging to the clothes of her loved ones. The clothes were all she had left of them now.

Kat cried for awhile, then finally stopped and picked up her Bible. She began to read it, and was comforted by God's message. But the words played over and over in her mind. Why? Why wouldn't I listen to them! Why wouldn't I go to church and listen! Why!

She finally reached her house and called out to her parents. Their was no answer. She checked their room and only found clothes lying on the bed. "It actually did happen!" She only think of one place to go right now. The church! She rushed down the street as the sun started to rise a little.

She was sitting in her sister's bed. What on earth? Was all that Nathan had told her true? She just couldn't handle this. A RAPTURE? But why? And why NOW? She hadn't heard from her parents back in Ireland for years, and now, loosing her sister... she decided to go over to Nathan's place, it was no good sitting here alone doing nothing. She had to find out more about this. God? Why had no one ever told her that this would happen!? She might not have been sitting here if only somebody had told her.... No.. my sister can't be gone. She got up, took her coat and went out to find Nathan.

Nathan had got a bit down the street when he reckognized a girl coming towards him. "Auna?" he cried and jogged down to her. Tears was running down his cheeks, but he didn't notice.

Nathan! I was looking for you! Oh, Nathan, this is horrible! I just can't believe what you've told me. It ... doesn't make sence, Nathan. Think about it! Rapture? God? No, Nathan, do you really believe that stuff?

"Riley believed it." Nathan sobbed weakly. "Who...?" he began, wondering if Auna had lost anyone.

"Sarah," Auna almost whispered, and looked down. "My sister, you know." She started crying again.

"I'm sorry." Nathan said, and hugged her. "I'm headed down to Riley's church. Wanna come?"

 

[ondry]

"Well... ok, I don't know what to do anyway.. but don't think you're gonna make me change my mind. I don't want to believe that rubbish. No one can just disappear, you know. I still thing something else has happened!" She looked at him. "No offence, just can't imagine my sister being taken away by God. I know she has been to church some times these last weeks...." She stopped talking, and looked blankly into the air. "But... hm..."

Nathan didn't know what to respond. The moments after he had heard the news the Rapture had been the obvious answer. But what if it isn't? He bit his lip. It had all been so overwhelming, he hadn't been thinking straight. God can't do anything like this...? He robbed the world for children? He took away pilots and drivers, causing plenty of deaths in accidents? No way, that's not the loving God Riley used to talk about. "Well, if it was the Rapture, then there's probably no one there." he said and shrugged.
