Who reads The Left Behind Series?? I have finished the adult series and am waiting 4 the rest of the kids series. The adult 1 was sooo good. Even tho I didn't understand some of the stuff.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yay! Buck is my favorite character in the series! I also like David Hassid, Abdullah Smith, Hannah Palemoon, Mark Eisman, Sam Goldberg, Melinda Bentley.. I‘m sure there’s some others that I can’t think of.
It’s been a while since I’ve read the series. The kids version works out especially if they’re not ready for the adult series. I read the adult series during lock down due to COVID. It’s kind of a unique series, because it can be set at any time- as early as 1990’s or 2000’s or as later as 20110’s or 2020’s. It would not have any effect.
I’ve watched the movies (the trilogy with Kirk Cameron) which are good, though not accurate to the books. A franchise that has been having a hard time to keep going. Then it got a reboot, which I haven’t seen. If it ever gets another reboot, it could probably work better as an episodic TV series, especially if there’re so much to explore on.
I’ve enjoyed the Left Behind Series, though I’ll admit that at times it gets over my head.

I am right now on Kingdom Come, which is about the millennial kingdom. I’ve been enjoying the series, though it does get pretty obscured at times.
The kids series does expand on things that the adult series couldn’t cover, like the 2nd trumpet judgment out at sea, the global cooling, the locusts, the miracle workers, the global heat wave. So I do give some credit for that.
