Everyone ran to the bunker, and waited there in the darkness, as the tornado ripped through the town. Faith turned on the portable tv, trying to find any info on the tornado, but all the channels were focused on the disappearance of all of the people. She turned one on of someone named Nicoli from the U.N.

"We have confirmed the disappearance has been from the radiation from the use of nuclear weapons. We have destroyed our own children and I ask for the disarment of all nuclear weapons. No matter the kindred or nation, we must pull together now to help our brothers and sisters."

Faith turned the channel as people tried to squezze towards the tv. Failing to find anything, she cut it off and put it back on the shelf.

Finally everyone walked out and everything was destroyed, the hospital was gone, the houses were gone... the only thing standing was the church. Faith went and stood next to Diedre, certain that this was who she needed to stick by.

"We have confirmed the disappearance has been from the radiation from the use of nuclear weapons. We have destroyed our own children and I ask for the disarment of all nuclear weapons. No matter the kindred or nation, we must pull together now to help our brothers and sisters."

(( Woah... That was pretty much word-for-word. ))

Dee stared at the television. Something just didn't seem right about this man. He seemed to care, but still, something inside her told her to be careful. Was this the man whom the Bible referred to as the Antichrist? Right now, she couldn't be certain.

After Faith turned the TV off, Dee stood there, lost in thought a moment, until everyone started to make their way out of the shelter. Then, she ran to help those who were patients in the hospital out. It looked like the nurses need all the help they could get to get those who needed help outside. When everyone was out, she stared in disbelief at the damage the tornado had done. The hospital was destroyed. Houses lay in ruins. More than likely, they would move the patients to a makeshift hospital in the city, considering how all the hospitals were filled to the brim with patients injured by the rapture.

It was then that Dee realized that her life was no longer going to be normal. She would have to be prepared for anything, in the future. Hopefully, she could get a head start on what's about to come by studying the Bible, so she could try to be prepared. Because if she remembered correctly, things were going to get a lot worse in the near future. She then looked at the church. Was the pastor still there? Would he be able to help? There was only one way to find out.

Dee walked up to a nurse and asked if there was anything else that they needed help with. When the nurse declined, Diedre looked around for the girl whom she'd brought here in her car, and her blood donor, who Dee guessed was the girl's brother. Dee walked up to them after she found them and explained that she was going for a bit. Then, she gave the boy her cell number. She told him to call her when he found something out.

She walked over to Faith. "There's someone I'd like you to meet."

((I told you, I liked that movie! :) ))

"Sure." Faith said, kind of in a trance. She was staring at the church, kind of enveloped in it, feeling drawn to it. Since she had prayed, she felt this overwhelming strength in her and though she never really felt compassion for others before, she suddenly felt as if she needed to help.

She stood on a tree stump and looked around at the people.

"Listen to me!!!" Faith exclaimed. "For the next seven years, it will be the worst men has ever seen! You must turn to Jesus Christ to help You find Your way or You will perish! He is just to forgive but You must talk to Him! If you receive the mark of the beast... if you turn away from God, you have no chance! You will be condemned to Hell!" Faith paused breathing deeply and realized people were looking strangely at her. Dee was interpreting what she was saying and Faith realized she wasn't speaking in English... Some shook their heads and some yelled in disagreement. Others just looked at Faith and Dee in confusion, others in contemplation.

Faith stepped down and looked in Diedre's eyes questioning what just happened...

Everything that had happened thus far was to much for Mike. The disappearances, the tornado, these two girls who had found something, and his own doubts...
Not entirely aware anymore, he heard the girl whose name he had yet to learn ask him, "Are you coming?"
He nodded his head, silent. He didn't know what to do anymore, but sticking with these two seemed the best option available.

Faith turned back to the church and walked in... It was pretty big but with all the people gathering in, it looked very small... then she saw her boyfriend and yelled for him happily.

"Chris!!!!" Chris looked to see Faith and went over to her hugging her happily. "Faith, are you alright? I was afraid the nuclear would kill you too."

Faith looked sorrowfully at Chris.

"Chris, no... it was the rapture..." Chris frowned. "The rapture isn't real Faith. And come on, if it did, you would definitely disappear, you are one of the most religious goody-two shoes I ever knew.

Tears gathered in Faith's eyes. "I didn't believe..." Faith said. "Please, read the Bible and see... everything is happening accordingly."

"Listen Faith. I don't have time to deal with this. I am getting out of this town and I am going to go off until everything settles down. Are you coming?" Faith looked at Dee and then put her head down in confusion. She loved Chris, or at least she thought she had one time... Still though, she loved God a lot more...

"Chris... I will pray that you will see the light..." Faith cried and then she turned to walk away."

"You'll be sorry." Chris screamed. "You know, I never was too sure about you anyway Faith. You just aren't cool."

Faith didn't respond, she was heartbroken. Then Chris saw Mike standing next to Diedre.

"Any of you two want to come?" He said. "Get out of this stupid place?"

Diedre stared at the boy, disgusted. She couldn't believe how Chris could just drop Faith because of what she believed in. It made her fume with anger.

Folding her arms, she scoffed, and looked around the church. She couldn't help but smile. She loved it here. It just made Dee feel close to God in this time of crisis and it made her want to stay.

"This is my favorite place in the world right now." she said, trying not to explode in anger at the boy, "The last thing I want to do, is leave."

Diedre then looked at Faith. The poor girl had just come to God, and had felt happy about it. And her boyfriend just broke her heart for it. Dee still admired the girl though. Faith had already grown spiritually, even in the few minutes that had passed since she had gotten saved. To be able to tell Chris that she would pray for him, even after what he did to Faith was definately admirable.

Mike was awakened from his trance-like state by the words of Chris. His mind had finally taken power back and, sadly, his mind agreed with Chris.
"I probably should be getting home, anyway," he said, trying to be a tad more respectful than Chris. He then turned and opened the door, and began a slow pace in the direction of his house.

"I'm out of here." Chris said, following Mike, and then like that they were gone, leaving Diedre and Faith together in the swarm of people...

"Diedre... was there someone you wanted me to meet." Faith finally said, not knowing what else to say.

Dee sadly watched the two walk away. She watched Mike follow. She'd hoped that he would stay with them, but she couldn't really expect him to.

He knows the truth, give him time. A voice inside her said.

She turned to Faith and smiled. She nodded her head, and walked around looking for the pastor.

Faith looked around and she couldn't help to feel sorry for the ones around her. Many of them were hurt... most of them were lost and needed God to help them before it was too late.

As they walked, Faith looked at Diedre and realized her family had disappeared in the rapture also. They had a lot in common and she was comforted that she wasn't the only one who had made this mistake.

Dee shook her head. "I was talking to him earlier."

She looked around at the crowd. "I didn't expect this many people to be here. There was barely anyone in here when I was here earlier. Are they looking for answers?"

Dee knocked on the pastor's office door again. "Bruce?" she asked through the door when there was no reply.

"Yes?" came a voice from behind her.

Dee whirled around, "Oh." she said, smiling.

"I wouldn't be in my office with all these people here." he replied.

"Well, that makes sense." she responded, "Anyway, I wanted you to meet someone." she motioned towards her new acquaintance, "This is Faith."
