People are actually using my name (I don't know how they found it) to do things and slander other people I love.

I would appreciate your prayers. This has ruined my reputation.

I really wish you wouldn't, you will be missed, the news upsets me. I do not understand how people are using your name or why, what's the point, just doesn't make sense to me. Seems to me like you're throwing in the towel to whoever they are, letting them win.

I might stick around a bit longer... but only because I can't figure out how to delete this account.

I still need to sell my website.

I already had cyber paranoia, but this just made it about 20 times worse.

That sent me over the edge. I almost go in trouble with the police over the whole thing.....

I've probably said too much, but just so you know, it isn't because someone hacked my account and said a "bad word". It was far worse.

I found out that I can't delete my account, but my paranoia is getting worse. I'm going through a rough time right now... I'm slipping into depression..which is sin.

I need prayer.

I'm sorry to hear you're going through a rough time my brother. I know what it's like to be depressed, I've struggled with it for most of my life. Remember that everyone posting on this board sins, perhaps not the same sin (though most fall under pride and lust) nor to the same extent nor early consequences thereof, but we struggle with it, daily. My advice would be to make the sovereign grace of God your focus, and to try and think about others, because the tendency of depression is to think on self. Consider Job, if anybody ever had the right to be depressed, I'd vote for him. As for friends, they come and go, the Lord gives and He takes. Take some time and talk to God about your problems, He knows and cares. I thought about a song, it has to do with people and conditional love. I'm dedicating it to you, here it is:

I have struggled with depression as well. One thing that helps me is to spend time meditating on heaven and all that awaits us. This life is but a wisp compared to eternity. Remembering that can help lighten the clouds that haunt sometimes. I found MacArthur's book on heaven helpful as well as Joni Eareckson Tada's book on heaven, which has a forward from MacArthur.
