Learning German, and Question (Song Translation)

Hi! I love languages, and German has been my love the last few years. I'm a HUGE fan of the music you're currently exporting (Rammstein, Megaherz, Eisbrecher, In Extremo, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, ASP, Subway to Sally), and I am enrolling in German classes at my uni.

I know a bit of the language, but I will marry the person who translates this song for me (I know the title):

I´m also a very bis fan of in extremo and subway to sally and bands alike
So for a fellow admirer I tried to translate the song. A little bit bumpy sometimes
But at least you get the meaning. Didn´t know it til now but i liked it
I also like Merlons of neremiah, Schandmaul, Tolstafanz and Tanzwut (the harder part of corvus corax) and some others.

Somewhere deep in myself,
is hiding this old creature.
It is the creature called wishfulness,
biting through my bowels.
it´s raging, scratching and biting and screaming
And grubbing through my soft Flesh.
This brute, don´t giving me peace.
I allure and grab it.
"Now I have you! Now you´re mine!
I´m bashing your head in!"
"No spare me! I´m not responsible(?),
I´m only a wild animal."

The creature, whispering at my ear:
"I propose a deal to you.
I´m unfortunately stuck in you,
Yet, if you leave me be,
no more raging no more biting.
In exchange you won´t feel empty anymore,
you won´t be lonely anymore,
I will be ever with you."
I contemplate and think for myself:
"Maybe I won´t find a creature anymore."
I agree, answer his woe.
So will it be, so will it happen.

It´s laying down, making itself small,
Rolling to a bowl(?).
So the creature sleeps year after year
altogether forgetting it is there.
In the seventh year on one day
It is gone! But where it lay,
is laying a cocoon white and smooth.
Where might the creature went to?
But ain´t I hear, when I hark,
A knocking out of this dabber?
I don´t think about it anymore,
only sometimes laying awake.
And it grows stronger every day.
Already ringing like a drumbeat.
My head is banging, breaking in pain
Keep quiet damned Thunderheart!

But woe! The cocoon is empty,
The old creature isn´t anymore.
In lieu thereof I don´t know what.
A Shape, deathly pale,
With blackened wings enormous big.
I ask myself: "What is this?
What is this evil thing?
By my soul (or egad) ! A butterfly!"
The eyes behold me ravingly,
And thirst, I know he wants my blood.
He opens his mouth for the kiss,
Now I know I have to die.
He´s smiling soft and leans to me
And whispers gentle in my ear:
"Not my fault! Not able to help it,
I only am a raging brute."

Wow, that's strange and a bit depressing. But thanks!

Schandmaul is good, too. I'm mainly into the industrial metal, though. Especially the ones influenced by techno.

Then I think you would like Tanzwut. It´s bagpipes mixed with techno. I´m not so into this industrial stuff. I like it more folky

But at the moment I´m very into Nightwish. Do you know it? A band from finland.

I know Tanzwut, and I've heard of Nightwish. I prefer Turmion Kälitöt, though.

Teufelsküche is a bit strange, but they're not bad (I know the song "Tanzt!"). Do you know Eisbrecher? Have they made it big yet?

Nun da das hier ja ein deutsches Forum sein soll, werde ich meine Antworten erstmal auf deutsch schreiben. Sonst bekomme ich noch eine Warnung.

Ich kenne weder Turmion Kälitöt noch Eisbrecher. Letztere sind auch nicht sehr bekannt in Deutschland, denke ich.

I don´t know Turmion Kälitöt or Eisbrecher. I think Eisbrecher is not very well known in germany. Never heard of them.

It's a two-man band formed by Alexx Wesselsky (my future husband ) of Megaherz. They're very techo-industrial metal. I love them; check out "Schwarze Witwe."

And TK are a Finnish band. VERY heavy, though.
